I submitted my own request after the first deadline, but before the second, asking for the deletion of capsule number 4B0A381A. I've kept it empty during my own holidays, and it is still there.
I am now seeking for some kind of confirmation. Will this be ever processed and I still have to wait for it, or my request has been rejected for some reason?

My locker is empty since submission and still not deleted......😂
Slight problem with that.... if you stop subscribing, that locker would stay. Everything else goes (barring the badge) or is discontinued.
@NianticThia I have the same issue. I met the second deadline, and the locker is still there. I tried to message you on Telegram.
I opened a ticket and finally a Niantic support clerk deleted the empty keylocker and I could get the Onyx one in the store.
If you are still waiting for Key Locker removals (there are not very many left), please look for a ticket form support.
