We’re excited to announce the schedule of events taking place during the months of July, August, and September! Below are the highlights of the upcoming events, and more information regarding the event will be released as the event date approaches.

July Events

July 23rd - August 2nd #FieldArt Challenge

  • 2X AP for Links created
  • 2X AP for Fields created
  • 2X chance of SoftBank Ultra Link drop rate
  • Increased Key drop through More command
  • Hack/Glyph Hack guarantees first Key drop 
  • Option to purchase a 6th Key Locker

August Events

August 4th - August 29th: NL1331X Meet You Out There Tour 

  • Check out the tour cities and dates here 

August 7th: First Saturday

August 6th - August 9th: Level 8 Weekend

  • 2X AP on all actions
  • 2X deploy L8 Resonators
  • Drone cooldown reduced to 8 mins 
  • Each successful Glyph earns 88 AP
  • Exclusive Level 8 themed Medal added to the Ingress Store

August 8th: Second Sunday 

  • Event will occur in LOCAL time, from 12am to 11:59pm
  • Completing any 6 official Mission Day Missions under the official Niantic accounts will increase your Mission Day medal by 1 count

August 20th - 30th: #MeetYouOutThere Challenge

  • Earn a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Medal based on AP gained during event
  • A new event metric ‘Event AP Gained’ added to your Agent Profile to help you monitor the number of AP earned
  • 888 AP for each Unique Portal Visits

September Events

September 4th: First Saturday

September 12th: Second Sunday

  • Event will occur in LOCAL time, from 12am to 11:59pm.
  • Completing any 6 Missions official Mission Day Missions under the official Niantic accounts will increase your Mission Day medal by 1 count

September 17th - 27th: Optima Kinetic Challenge ll 

  • Progress from previous Optima Kinetic Challenge will be applied to Medal
  • Bronze tier: 4 KC completed / Silver tier: 16 KC completed / Gold tier: 50 KC completed
  • Kinetic energy distance reduced from 8km to 2km for all Programs
  • A NEW Program enabled for the duration of Challenge
