<p>I tried to report the CAL error via support but my in-game support was stuck on a ticket I reported in August  about Adventure Sync, which was fixed in a later update. It turns out the ticket was never cleared. <p>My wife and son were also there. My wife had not played ingress in more than a month. She may have opened the scanner and hacked a portal earlier in the day but that was about it.</p><p> When she attacked the CAL restricted portal it was fine. No CAL message. She destroyed the portal and I could then capture the portal without a CAL issue.</p><p><strong>Issues</strong></p><ol><li> Why could I attack a portal 50m away from the CAL portal and still get a CAL block?</li><li>What does an agent do if they already have an uncleared  ticket (like me) and hit the CAL issue?</li><li>Why are old tickets not getting cleared? Is there anything agents can do this clear resolved tickets?</li><li>Why do I, who has played almost everyday for the past few months get a CAL block while my wife who has not played for the last few months may except may be an odd hack not get a CAL issue?</li></ol><p><strong>Possible Solution</strong></p><p>Niantic has a lot of information about me. Recursed twice, 167M lifetime AP, 60 (real) mission days, 42 (real) NL events, 16 anomalies on the ground (excluding BB only anomalies) among others.  These stats, should be enough to confirm I am a real agent. The fact that I regularly play all around the world (having completed a MD in each continent) should be obvious if CAL is based on historical agent data.</p><p>Even if this was not the case I had been peeling the BAF inside out for a good 15+ layers without a problem. The last portal only ~50 meters away from the second last portal should not be a problem. If I was doing this by myself it would have been a 4+ hour drive (one way) wasted.</p><p>This is no more frustrating than driving 4+ hours to put up a field only have it killed by a fake agent.   In my experience majority of BAFs were not spoofed down.  But from my sample of one, evey/most legitimate attackers are getting hit wit a CAL block.  </p><p>It seems the CAL approach has just shifted the frustration from builders to attackers.  More than that an occasional frustration for builders have turned in to a guaranteed frustration to attackers.  </p><p>I suggest Niantic establish some sort of hard-to-achieve, secret (if do desired) base line profile (eg. recursed, X in-person events, over a 100M+ AP etc) where the CAL restriction does not apply.  Otherwise you are going to end up with lots of very frustrated agents.</p><p>  I am happy to provide additional detail if needed.</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>After my first IFS in 2023.2, I cannot see anything related to IFS on my personal profile.</p><p>I've confirmed that I have finished IFS from local poc and official website. Also, I can see the badge in someone else's profile.</p><p>The badge's neither locked or unlocked, it just disappeared. Same to the stats, I cannot find it in any category.</p><p>I tried on Android 12 / Android 13, Ingress Prime 2.134.1, 4G / WiFi, Xiaomi device. None works.</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>The Ingress Prime violates the Apple's official Carplay guidelines about audio API. Even if the app has all the volume settings disabled/down, the app highjacks the audio and interrupts all existing audio broadcasts.</p><p><a href="https://community.ingress.com/en/home/leaving?allowTrusted=1&amp;target=https%3A%2F%2Fdeveloper.apple.com%2Fdesign%2Fhuman-interface-guidelines%2Fcarplay" rel="nofollow noopener ugc">https://developer.apple.com/design/human-interface-guidelines/carplay</a></p><p><strong>"Let people choose when to start playback.</strong> In general, avoid beginning playback automatically unless your app’s purpose is to play a single source of audio, or your app is resuming previously interrupted audio. Also, avoid starting an audio session until you’re ready to actually play audio because starting a session silences other audio sources, like the car’s built-in radio."</p><p>I have also reported this to Apple for better communication between Niantic and Apple so that the violation can be fixed faster so that the app is not being pulled off from app store.</p><p>iOS 17.3.1, Ingress Prime 2.136.1</p>]]>

It is not possible to get past that point.         <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi, today when my Kinetic Capsules were ready to claim and I got the notification in game in the bottom right corner I noticed something strange. When I click the message it takes me into the inventory carousel to claim the capsules but if I back out it will display that the submenu I am in is whatever previous submenu I was in before clicking the message (resonators, weapons, etc) instead of being in the "Capsules" submenu.         <description><![CDATA[<p>So I've been having an issue (started somewhere around August 2023), that Ingress no longer syncs with health data on my phone. I've created a ticket through the app, but no updates since then and with the bounties now requiring to complete kinetic capsules, it's grown more frustrating.</p><p>I walked for 10km <strong>average</strong> (per day) for the past week, around 15k steps <strong>average</strong> (per day). </p><p>The weekly fitrep comes up and states it's 32KM. (Which is quite frustrating)</p><p>I've done everything from re-installing my phone to changing settings and permissions, nothing seems to work. </p><p>Pikmin runs in the background and counts my steps pretty accurately, so I don't know what else to do to get this resolved.         <description><![CDATA[<p>The title pretty much says it all, but this is an infuriating bug especially when you're trying to defend a portal and keep accidentally hitting 'overclock' while charging the portal. </p><p>If I am not within 20 meters proximity of a portal, the overclock button must be disabled IN ALL VIEWS. </p><p>To reproduce this bug, find any key in your inventory to a portal which is not in your range, click on the key and the portal until you are in recharge view, and click 'overclock' in the bottom right corner. You'll get an annoying prompt "Insufficient portal data - Overclock is disabled. Overclock at this Portal can be enabled by. uploading Portal Scans. [Cancel] [Scan portal]". </p><p>If you click on a portal in your current view from which you are further than 20 meters, you will get a notify dialog that says "Enable overclock by moving within 20m of the Portal core." This is obviously better already, but it would not be the desired behavior for recharge view.         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><strong>Description of the Issue :</strong> A few minutes ago , around 8:00 PM UTC+0, I uploaded a portal scan and the scout controller credit went to another agent. The portal in question is called 'Galeto - Lojas com História', it used to be scout controlled by agent @PTavares76 with 2 scans before my upload. I made sure 30 days had passed and just moments ago, after uploading the scan, the scout controller credit went to agent @Hulk32﻿. The scout controller filter appeared on the portal in my scanner after my upload but my stat did not increase and I did not receive any notification.         <description><![CDATA[<p>So I'm trying to log back into Ingress after about a decade off the game.</p><p>On logging in I get this screen.</p><p>When I press accept I get this error and cannot continue.</p><p>So I reached out to the Ingress developers on the number listed on the Google play store.</p><p>And they're asking me to buy something? Direct with them?</p><p>What on earth is going on? I just want to log in. Is this a scam?</p><p>My device is a Xiaomi Mi 13 Ultra 2304FPN6DC</p><p>I just want to log back on and see if my glyphs still work.</p><p>I tried to attach images but the forum won't let me.</p>]]>

In my provided screenshots, the first one shows on the first screen it needs 24 L1 XMPs, but when you select to run it, it shows 24 L7 XMPs. My 2nd screenshot has the L5 on the first screen, then L7s on the 2nd.         <description><![CDATA[<p>It has been a known thing since Ingress was disabled in Russia but recently the portal was started to be abused. There is an island next to Russian border in Estonia, on this island there is a church that has been an anchor portal for both of the factions. It was on ENL hands when the Ingress got disabled in RF.
