        <title>Account suspended next day installation but couldn't get any supportive information from Niantic</title>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>I bought new iPhone last weekend, installed Ingress and PoGo, created account the same day and I got 1st strike on next day. I checked all my phone application and setting, I logged in again yesterday and it shows my account has been suspended by my 3rd party tool. I do not have any. I didn't understand why it happened and requested account review then NIA replied only Player Guideline site link.</p><p>Then I sent movie showing my application list l have installed and Ingress login action to get further information what to be checked then they replied,</p><p>"We apologize for the earlier response. As mentioned in our previous response, our decision to temporarily suspend your account is final. We cannot provide any additional support regarding this account."</p><p>Many of my friends got the same situation this year.</p><p>E-mail above does not help anything for Ingress beginners. Because support center does not support and help center does not provide any help, my account was born to die only after account creation completed. Hope NIA write more clearly and specifically on help page and let support member's action more infomative if they alive.</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>I am unable to perform a portal scan on my newly acquired smartphone, the Rakuten Hand 5G P780. When I try to scan, it says "Too dark. Ensure your camera is unobstructed and there is adequate lighting." even though the camera image is clearly displayed on the screen.         <description><![CDATA[<p>again about the ENL linkstar yesterday in a closed parc in Antwerp (Middelheim).</p><p>Just like there is no reason to ban [redacted] , [redacted], [redacted] there should be no reason for banning Beul80.</p><p>Working your way into a closed parc, by telling a small lie to a guard about a lost key, is not spoofing....</p><p>If it would be considered trespassing (it is not), it is surly not a reason for a ban. Where is the 1 2 3 step program for that? I reported several players in the past about trespassing, never had any reaction. never applied even step 1</p><p>If a vanguard is playing with the impacted team, he is surly biased in his opinion and emotions go high</p><p>Please reverse the decisions and lift the ban of these players.</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>[redacted]</p><p>All three are banned now</p><p>There was an ENL linkstar yesterday from a closed parc in Antwerp (Middelheim).</p><p>[redacted] did nothing besides standing in the neighbourhoud of the parc on the public road with access/interactions to some portals on the outside of the parc....</p><p>[redacted] picked up keys that dropped after killing links to the target portal and used those keys to link to the portal once that was flipped.</p><p>Yes the portal was flipped, but this was not caused by those players....</p><p>There is/was really no reason to BAN these players. For most of us Ingress is an important part of our lives and this really hurts since they did no cheating whatsoever. A Running sojourner that will stop, all the memories from banners walked..... please restore these accounts.</p>]]>

Because he alerts me that I can get banned without strike, and also without knowing what he did.</p><p><br /></p><p>Also, he nevers spoofing.         <description><![CDATA[<p>I've been playing for a long long time (got my invite in Jan 2013).</p><p>I'm what I'd classify as a casual player. I play when I have nothing else to do.</p><p>I recruited a friend of mine recently, he was looking for an excuse to get some walking exercise.</p><p>Turns out, he got a bit obsessed and managed to fly through the first 7 levels in a matter of days.</p><p>Then he got banned for no apparent reason, and since he can't post an appeal here, he asked me to do it on his behalf.</p><p><br /></p><p>---</p><p>So my account got terminated the other day.</p><p>All I ever did was play the game on my phone didn’t cheat or use multiple accounts or any hacks.</p><p>Ban appeal was upheld.</p><p>In the interest of improving the anti cheat detection and start playing again ASAP I am more than happy to work with Niantic Support to close the loop on this false positive detection.</p><p>Is there anyway I can get a human to look at this. Happy to assist however required.</p><p> thanks in advance 1Weeksy1</p><p>---</p><p>He did appeal the ban using all the "correct" channels, but the response was very quick and looked to be some sort of automated system.</p><p>Is there a way to get a human to look into this?</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello, I live in Galicia, a region on the corner of Spain and north of Portugal.</p><p>For a few months, the players of this region have been suffering the constant cheating of 3 players with dozens of spoofers</p><p>I am not exaggerating when I speak of dozens. Only in the year 2021 we have achieved that more than 10 of these accounts have been banned, including their main accounts, but the sky is still covered with spoofers</p><p>Among all the bleak scenery there are people who are encouraged to create an account and start their adventure in Ingress by dedicating their time to something that they know that at any moment someone can comfortably undo from their armchair.</p><p> This is the case of the REVIXA player who started his adventure a couple of weeks ago.</p><p>His playtime between work and family is very limited and in two weeks he had only become LVL 5, but he was very happy and proud of it.</p><p>Thanks to his trade he can access a game portal whose access is restricted to authorized personnel and which, for years, has been used almost exclusively by the enlightened, so imagine the joy of the resistance to know that finally there could be a our agent there.</p><p>The joy has been short-lived. Two days ago, agent Revixa wanted to destroy the portal of that place but his XMPs are still very weak. He was not able to destroy a single resonator.</p><p>His hopes were pinned on the Matryoshka Event that starts today in which he could go up a few more levels and his XMPs would be more powerful.</p><p>Yesterday your account was terminated for violating the terms of the game.</p><p>He has done nothing outside of the rules of the game. Your access to this place restricted to unauthorized personnel is legal. He can provide evidence, videos, photos ... to the person in charge of the game that is necessary, but an automatic machine has decided that he is not an honest player.</p><p>This player is now very discouraged. I can not imagine anything wrong with his account, or the way he plays and/or treats fellow agents, on the contrary, he is a rolemodel for many of us.</p><p>Since he can no longer access the forum, I will post his request for help in this matter, and I sincerely hope the community will back him up in this matter:</p><p>"Hello everyone, may I have your attention for a brief moment. 10 days ago I suddenly could not log into my scanner. Acces denied it said. Intel, forum or Wayfarer aren't accessible either. After I contacted the support I received an email with the information my account was terminated. I honestly don't have a clue what they are accusing me of. I don't spoof, only have one account, didn't bought any items online, did not participate in wintrading. I have submitted several ban appeals. He is an ios user. Which seems to be enough for random bans...)</p><p><br /></p><p>Jasoeda's playfield: between <strong>Antwerp, Mechelen </strong>and<strong> Lier. </strong>Recognisable by huge links. Mainly known by others through Telegram (he avoids real life contact, due to his autism).</p><p>He is:</p><p><strong>⭐️ A great team member: </strong>helps out without any hesitation, always happy to give his advice through Telegram </p><p><strong>⭐️ An integer player: </strong> 100% follows the rules when he scans portals, nominates new waypoints or rates portals on Wayfarer</p><p><strong>⭐️ An honest person:</strong> Does not use any additional software, does not spoof or cheat in any way. </p><p><em>(When you see his player level after years of playing - it should be enough proof. He gains his AP through throwing links around in any direction, hoping it will result in a field 😂.)</em></p><p><br /></p><p>Of course filed a <strong>ban appeal </strong>instantly. Which got ignored. </p><p>Jasoeda knocked on Nia's door for help. Nia left it unanswered. </p><p>So let's all knock on Nia's door together.         <description><![CDATA[<p>Agents, </p><p>We appreciate your patience while we investigated issues related to Intel Map suspensions. We are sharing an update to address concerns and to provide more information about the suspensions and bans that some Agents received.</p><p><strong>Intel Map Suspensions </strong></p><p>We have made changes and have confirmed that upgrading to iOS 14 should not negatively impact your account. To follow up on the updates provided <a href="https://community.ingress.com/en/discussion/12237/update-regarding-the-intel-map-suspension-message" rel="nofollow noopener ugc">here</a> and <a href="https://community.ingress.com/en/discussion/comment/119568/#Comment_119568" rel="nofollow noopener ugc">here</a>, there were 2 issues:</p><ol><li>Ingress 2.55.1 is not displaying the <a href="https://community.ingress.com/en/home/leaving?allowTrusted=1&amp;target=https%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2Fingress3strikes" rel="nofollow noopener ugc">Strike 1</a> Warning Screen. Updating to Ingress 2.56.2 will display the Warning Screen so Agents can acknowledge and dismiss it and regain access to Intel Map. We strongly recommend updating to the latest version of Ingress if you have not done so already. </li><li>Some Agents incorrectly received a Strike 1, and due to the technical issue above, these Agents were able to access Ingress with 2.55.1 but not access Intel Map. Please note the incorrect Strike 1 did not affect every Agent who upgraded to iOS 14, and also affected Agents across different OS versions and devices. Our team has reversed the incorrect Strike 1 on these accounts, and they should now be able to access Intel Map. If you continue to experience any issues, please update to Ingress 2.56.2, clear your browser cache and cookies, then log back in to Intel Map. </li></ol><p><strong>Account Bans</strong></p><p>In order to promote fair gameplay and preserve the integrity of the game, we identified and banned accounts for various cheating behaviors, including: </p><ol><li>Farming items for unauthorized item sellers using third party tools or by falsifying their location.</li><li>Delivering or distributing these items</li><li>Purchasing or storing these items </li><li>Sending unsolicited COMM messages for unauthorized items</li></ol><p>Reminder: you should only purchase or share items via authorized means. We will continue to investigate item sellers, buyers, and accounts associated with unauthorized item selling. </p><p>Please note that the cheating behavior described here may not receive a three-strike warning and instead may be permanently banned.</p><p>Additionally, we have removed these high-value items obtained through unauthorized means. Any items purchased through third-party websites or services will be removed from players’ inventories — even if these items were dropped and passed to other players.</p><p>Finally, if you believe your account was banned in error and haven’t already appealed, please submit an appeal through the Ingress Help Center <a href="https://community.ingress.com/en/home/leaving?allowTrusted=1&amp;target=https%3A%2F%2Fniantic.helpshift.com%2Fa%2Fingress%2F%3Fs%3Dyour-ingress-account%26f%3Dsubmit-a-ban-appeal" rel="nofollow noopener ugc">here</a>.</p>]]>
