Key Sorting

Currently keys are sorted according to distance & name.

More sorting logic could be added based on how people actually use keys in the inventory view.

For now, I would suggest sort keys by energy percentage. This would be based on the total energy left in the deployed resos on that portal. This would be very useful for people maintaining important portals as currently you have to scroll quite a bit to do this.


Only 1 reso if deployed. But is 50% charged. That would make the portal 50% energy.

If 8 resos are deployed, and all are between 10-15% energy, the average % would be taken of the 8 resos to give a value between 10-15 %.


  • I would suggest a totally individualized method of sorting keyes and have them in whatever order you find useful. Would also improve the usage of key lockers to much benefit. Also I would suggest the function of renaming keyes as with capsules. Would help with keyes to portals that have similar names or are of the same type, like playgrounds and so forth. The keyes are a bit of an issue actually... Getting to them fast, going over the xm status in important ones as mentioned above... Yeah!

    I understand that there could be a million different ways to sort keys. But implementing so many different methods, or a new sorting mechanic, might not be feasible. Which 1 way would you find most useful?

    What are you talking about. They can`t do default alphabetical sorting work well.

  • Placing things in a space or slot of your choise is already possible. Resonators and mods are put where you choose them to be put. Why not keyes? You can already name capsules whatever you want. Why not keyes? But the most useful change would be to be able to sort them at your own system.

    Because the key list is dynamic. Mod & reso slots are standard. If you're talking about something like "favourite" keys, that would be quite limited and would not account for new keys acquired.
