Hello. I've tested both via wifi and mobile network and reproduced latest Ingress 2.45.1(armeabi v7a) still not working on Android 6.01. Test device was Motorola xt1550(Osprey),2gb version,ROM 6.01(MPIS24.107-55-2-17 RetAsia),at background was only stock ROM's apps and "Screen Rotation Control" maybe. Link to Google Drive with zipped logs (adb logcat) was provided to support via Support site. The only way to start is clean data-then bypass "apex news" by minimizing and reopening Ingress,then it can start one time. Can try to look some 6.01 ROM and test on Redmi 4x(it's arm8) and Samsung A7(2016) - if it's useful - but later.
BTW this Osprey with custom Android 10 works with Prime,so problem is with Android 5-6.

logs are zipped on link below but support asked to SCREENSHOT error logs(!!!).
#myfaveportal is still going on, and still the scaling of portal photos is not fixed. @NianticBrian please, this was explained in detail two release notes ago, can't somebody take an hour to fix it? Many of us really strive to get great looking portal photos when we submit new portals.
Some examples follow, again:
Landscape orientation, click the portal:

With landscape orientation the "full view" of the portal image is completely bonkers. No further explanations needed, I think. Scale the image so, that it's horizontal resolution matches the viewport's/device's horizontal resolution, ok? No biggie.
Portrait orientation, click the portal:
Portrait orientation, click the photo:
This is not as bad as with landscape-orientated photos, but if you actually look at the image, again a big bunch of the image is missing from the left and the right side of the image. Compare to the previous "click the portal image". You can see that, for example, a whole tree is missing from the sides. Again: Scale the image so, that it's horizontal resolution of the scaled image matches the viewport's/device's horizontal resolution, ok? Still no biggie.
IF the image cropping is weird and it's downscaled size based on horizontal resolution of the device would be vertically larger, than the device's vertical resolution, THEN downscale the image so that it's VERTICAL resolution matches the vertical resolution of the image.

i have the Norwegian Version. Tried changing the language on the iPhone to english and it resolved the issue, but changing language back to Norwegian and the issue returned.
Dont fix lication GPS button for edit location. Now button down right coner lead to faild location and not the lo action i move to in real world. Works on Android in Redacted not Prime. Please fix it soon.
@DSkatauri@DestroyerTJ can you send me Intel Map links or lat/longs for where you're seeing enemy Fields connected to friendly Portals (or vice versa)? That may be a server-related issue rather than a client one.
Also, we're investigating why localization or translations are causing the Agent profile not to display correctly, thank you.
Ever since November these issues are hit and miss on intel and in the client. To this day, loads of times portals will either not appear in the scanner, or have ghost links and fields. Restarting the game helps resolve invisible portals. This is nothing new, itβs ongoing, unfortunately.
For example these green was shown as blue. But i think it's client bug,because it was not present in previous builds and also device-specific(not the same portal on all devices,but just random minor glitch)

I donβt know if this is just me but there are strange blackish blobs shortly after ingress loads, they last about 5 seconds and are mainly around the screen. They do move from the top top right corner of my phone down to the left. And they are quite noticeable once it does start to happen.
WRT your issues with seeing the map, I believe that it is affected by lighting dynamics settings. Make sure it's turned up from the minimum. Also, the map tiles we're usually the first to load for me, but it's also possible that a slow connection is loading the map tiles last for some reason.
There appears to have been a regression in this release wherein portals are back to looking like thin, anemic, vertical lines in the oblique map view, as there were in releases before 2.40.1.
Out of just plain curiosity for myself really but you mentioned the screenshots were done on a mobile data connection when the blue/white portals were showing although they were supposed to be green as the images show green links coming from them...does this also happen via a home wifi connection ?? And also when you jump to them via the portal keys are they normal colours or blue/white
Thanks for the reply, unfortunately none of these are the reason. My wifi connection is 375Mb/s and my mobile connection is Lte and I have been using both since I started playing in january of last year. My lighting dynamics have always been set at 50/50 and though I have tried to change them since the roads disappeared, it has had no effect. I just logged on one day after upgrading late the night before and the roads (map tiles) were gone. I have uninstalled, re-installed several times and they have not come back.

For people having issues; it appears (at least on iOS) that if you set the language for ingress to English, it will resolve them. Workaround ;)
Go to settings, search for ingress in the top bar and Change the language.

More bug now and must restart Prime very often now. I have Samsung Galaxy S10+ and Android 10

You can just change the language of the the app on iPhone. That fixed it for me

You can also search for Ingress in iOS settings and change the language for just the app :)
