Add "Unsafe" as a reason for rejection

I ask specifically because I came across TWO submissions in Wayfarer for hunting grounds. Like, where animals get made into meat with projectiles. Yeah, that's where kids should go to raid for Legendary Pokemon! 9_9 Technically, the strongest rejection that fit was "Doesn't meet criteria" (there were signs, so they weren't "Natural feature") but I feel like without being able to directly respond to the submitters, they might try to submit them again and argue the hunting grounds have historical value or something. It could even be added to "Pedestrian access" as an either/or thing, like with "Private residence or farm"
Like, I just don't think it's a good idea to entice non-hunters toward hunting grounds. What if tourists who don't speak English wander over there? BAD IDEA.

Unsafe pedestrian access seems like the right fit.
Average age for players is over the age of 18.
What does age of the player base have to do with it ?
Common sense is what make people don't go to unsave locations.
What people feel is not acceptable because they assume more kids than adults play the game.
October update says adult oriented places are allowed to have the art submitted on it's own merit separate from being not eligible for the actual place.
There’s a difference between adult orientated and unsafe and adult combined. Even if this has the most amazing mural it should be denied as places related to firearms should not be accepted.
the unitedd states 2nd ammendment gives you the right to bear arms, not the right to fire arms
That's your opinion and not per rules is the difference. Your opinion is wrong but you should still review per the rules.
That is why we have hunting license programs and safety courses to make sure that the hunters are using proper safety in their surroundings.
This is also why DNR does spot checks of hunting grounds constantly that specific people are hired to check hunters licenses for safety.
Hunters can be players too.
The fact that you think the Italian glam-rock band “Dreams Not Reality” does spot checks at hunting grounds just shows how little you understand about hunting.
The fact you think they don't is why your wrong. State parks are used also for hunting, they are typically the most populated with wayspots.
You clearly don’t know anything about the famously anti-animal cruelty vegetarian Italian glam-rock band “Dreams Not Reality”’s policy on hunting, let alone think they would voulintarily do safety checks on hunters (tacitly endorsing the practice) is frankly ludicrous. I would appreciate if you would look into safe hunting practices before chiming in on hunting related conversations like this.
Gearglider this isn't one topic to joke around on. State parks are hunting grounds. If you are denying hunting grounds than you are killing major parks in the USA. I'm sure you wouldn't be happy losing your state parks as valid submissions.
I like how you’re major concern about my flippant attitude is about denying Wayspots on hunting grounds instead of how treating hunting safety practices as something to joke about and not take seriously can put lives in danger.
My major concern is state parks as they are hunting grounds. I can't see state parks being lost because of someone joking around honestly. Take this one conversation seriously.
Okay, serious concern:
Attracting non-hunters that are playing a video game that forces focus to your phone instead of your surroundings is dangerous and irresponsible and can lead to people being killed.
It doesn’t matter if the player is not paying attention, if you put something there to attract their attention, you are legally partially at fault for their trespassing.
If the areas you claim are hunting grounds in their entirety (instead of just, y’know, specific areas) then all Wayspots should be removed from these areas. They endanger lives and present a major liability for Niantic.
God why can’t I ever get anyone to talk with me about Italian glam-rock band Dreams Not Reality.
A person who is going to hunting grounds for a wayspot should have common sense on hunting season and when they can visit. The submission description could have a warning in that case if you truly are worried that it would effect niantic. But to outright have state parks removed because they are also hunting grounds is ridiculous.
Ingress players don't need to visit a wayspot once they have a key already. They can dup the key. Or they can chose not to go. Mountain tops have a potential for rockslide, are they unsafe then too?
State parks have been in game for how long? Have you heard of anyone getting killed going to a state park to play one of the games? No! That's part of hunting safety.
This has nothing to do with Italian glam-rock band Dreams Not Reality. I’m starting to wonder why you mentioned them in the first place.
This is one. I feel @NianticCasey won't answer. Because it's too complicated of a decision.
Because hunters have a right to their local hotspots.
Players have a right to play the game.
State parks have hunters, players, and families who all get along just fine daily.
This conversation should be ended and closed by saying to follow what's in wayfarer.
Nominations that are images of adult-oriented stores or services
Including liquor stores, adult entertainment, **** ranges, firearm stores, etc. Establishments that serve alcoholic beverages like bars and pubs are acceptable.
Nominations with no safe pedestrian access to the Wayspot’s real-world location
While the below AMA Response Exists, we know that Niantic would always side on the err of caution for the safety of all involved.
Q52: Places like schools and private property say that we are to deny all nominations on those properties. Does this precident extend to the denials thst we are supposed to do on "Adult orientated Businesses" (**** clubs, liquor stores).
Example, a mural is painted on the wall of a marajuana shop. Are we to deny the mural because it's on a place that should not be accepted or are we to not worry about what type of business that it's on?
A52: The guidance from NIA OPS is, “The "businesses" themselves may not meet criteria since they would fall under generic businesses. A mural or candidate not related to the business should be reviewed on its own merit.”

While the below AMA response exists, I would believe that Niantic would err on the side of caution for everyone safety and well-being. You added the hunters deserve Waypoints, however if you are out hunting you really should be paying attention to what you are doing and not a mobile game.

Longer history for hunting than for a Fence in Pittsburgh.
