The 3rd 5th and 6th all have two distinct titles , with 5 having at least 5 different titles I have found
although I think the issue is the keyword “obfuscation”. , at least that’s what I have to assume because so much works
Okay so I found some of the names of the circles but what do I do with them?
If there is a title and a brand name should I use the title only? Still can't figure out how to use the 7 names.. (actually I'm not sure if the names are correct, especially the last)
This is obviously a rabbit hole, but there's an online Czech keyboard tool. Most of it is QWERTY-like, with some things moved to other keys, and most notably the y/z are reversed.
There's also no character d' on the keyboard, but a Control-S seems to be maybe similar?
I also note that I have no actual idea what "alphabetic order" is for Czech. The only decoding tool that seeeeems to make plausible sense (that was named on p4) complains loudly that there are repeated characters in my input alphabet, despite that WE know that these are all distinct: e é ě, etc
Also the "Ch" isn't actually its own alphabetic character? So I guess we're actually only using "41" characters out of the ostensible 42 we keep talking about.
Use the brand name in that case, I think.
Hmmm ... is the keyword a scrambled name? ... or any clues on how to “fix” an “obscured” keyword?
i think I’ve had almost the right 7 char key and the right encoding for almost 12 hours
..qamu... is that on the path?
The keyword is not scrambled (it is a common English word), but you do have to remove something from it for no reason. Yes, those four letters appear in the decode.
There are web pages where you can find the Czech alphabet. Yes, Ch is a Czech letter and presents a minor problem, but you still have to count it otherwise the arithmetic might not work. Fortunately it doesn't appear in the input or the output of the decode. If your decoder can't do accents, you need to find a different one.
if I’ve had the right code for 7 hours ...
after checking a bunch of options and always getting “invalid” , I don’t have it but I must be so incredibly close
I did find the d' character on that keyboard, shift then the = key brings it up on the "d"
So, I finally found the 19 letters, and 7 title of all the arts.. trying to decode in both english alphabet and czech, but doesn't seem to make a readable words out of it. any help?
I feel like such a klutz. Am I getting ANY closer?
You saved me ... had a mistake where I accidentally swapped two letters in the prefix part of the code but otherwise I’ve been staring at the answer for hours
Can you see the two colours and what relevance they might have?
okay i have all the pictures I am pretty sure except the 4th and the 6th one and I am not on the wiki page i just cant find them
I'm in almost the same boat; I have all of them except for the 4th and 7th ones.
Keep going you are doing a good job. I think some milk food might cheer you up!
okay.. now i got something readable and the "13ar".. yet, the keyword still seems unreadable
okay so I think i found 6 guess i am still looking for 4 though
for getting the right names of the seven, use English and the starting brand name (5 comes in two forms, one with and one without a brand name ... use the brand name).
other than the brand name issue, the most common English name you find is what you should use
and pay attention to subtle details ... the images are taken directly from the works in question so those secondary background shade patterns will help you know you have the right work for a few
finally, lots of works have lots of 6 point stars, but only one has those 2 five point stars
#4 (top circle) is on the Wiki page, but it's a background detail that you might not spot at first. The name of it was already mentioned on page 2 here.
I have all seven now
I have long identified all 7 paintings. However, I am still far from a solution. Either I use the names of the pictures incorrectly, or I incorrectly compose their sequence to get the key.
I will be glad to any hint.
Duh, finally found them! That's the first thing I was looking for, playing with colors, contrast, etc. Missed it completely at first... (maybe being ill didn't help). Thank you :)
what do we do once we have all seven I know the keyword is seven letters but I can't make anything out of what I have
When you know your key should be seven long and you have seven "things" try some obvious ones, maybe one will work 😉
So I'm looking for a single "english" word in the titles of all 7 paintings. My instinct is to take the first initial of each of those as the key. But I'm getting nothing that even looks remotely usable as output, having entered the Czech alphabet into my secret decoder ring, and using a "stub" character in place of the "Ch".
The titles I have for each circle, going clockwise starting from the left:
So from this, the key I'm trying is (in order): that first letter, the word, the first short english word, the word, unknown, the brand name, her title
But regardless of which letter I use for place 6, and even if I try the name instead of title for 7, the output is ... a mishmash.
how will we know when we have the keyword I still do not have any clue what to do with the 19 letters i got earlier
how do you even start this without at least a hint?
