Does it have to do with distances?
No, look around and enjoy
To confirm, is the prefix consists of 6 letter/numbers?
I can see some but not all, am I not looking at the right place or I need more imagination?
Yes, you're correct
Thanks, great problem!
The marker is always placed in the same way, that should help your imagination
what's your true north?
I think it means "Rights Managed", ie. a copyright notice for the image.
Nice trip 😅 lost some times but, a nice trip.
I'm not sure if two of my things are correct. They seem...empty...
4 digits after the point would have been enough (and not any less)
My 8th "thing" is empty, others are fine. Could make a guess but then I have no idea how to move on. Probably need a sleep.
I ended up a transformed key of tylv... not sure if I went down a rabbit hole. Think I need to sleep.
edit: I did go down a rabbit hole. Needed to transform my key differently.
The location of the pin is not random. Good luck.
I know what you mean and think. I am at the same point asking myself, Am I close? or Am I lost? 😅
I did not encounter "tylv..." on the way to solve this to the end.
The hint that helped me after step 1
i still wonder what RM means
Hectic monday meetings in office... yet enjoyed decoding.. with my buddy @GvRTesphina
same here. I was speaking figuratively. I rode one once.. it was like bein in a car accident only it lasted longer and you had to pay for it up front. as for hints: you can't see the woods if your view is blocked by a bunch of trees.
also, one time while solving my brain starts to implode and explode at the same time due to quantum fluctuations caused by Schrödinger's cat eating a red herring on the very edge of a black hole while a sun sets on the event horizon.
So, what to do after we get the key? I tried to decipher it using vigenere but it seems wrong
Make sure you get a key that makes sense and try to interpret it before u get the real key.
the key is not the key
You might have the wrong key
Any hints for someone stuck at the beginning?
Replace the '#' with a newline. Then you should see series of strings with a similar format that hide coordinates. Look at the present characters, their amount and their order and try to map it to something that you can locate.
Someone earlier said something about "tylv..." but my first two are "TH", my 4th could be several things, and eighth is just a blank?
"tylv" was a rabbit hole. You are going into the right direction.
Your first two are correct. There are no blanks and please look at my first hint that will help you solve the ambiguations. If you cannot figure out one go to the next and try to fill in the missing ones after you have them all ... it will be easier this way.
