I am still concerned as we have not seen a "SURGE" of approvals. Just scattered reportings at this point. Not a Hey! Just had 5 approved all at once from people. So still waiting for a true fix.
I'm happy to let you all know that this issue has not only been resolved but that the Wayfarer team is working to make sure that the backlog that was created is imported by the end of the week.
Thanks, but it doesn't make sense that something like this can break when rejections and edits were going through.
There are only two possible explanations, the first that Niantic really are that incompetent or the second, that whether lawsuit or not, it was planned to test something or other.
Either way, communication is necessary. How is it that after 7 years Niantic still acts like this?
@NianticCasey One of my nominations from 31st Dec is still stuck "In Voting". Nominations in this area never take more than 3 or 4 days in voting and other later ones have been resolved. So I'm pretty sure this is still stuck due to the issues around New Year.
Looks like it's been more than 3 days. I normally have about a 5 day wait from when something has gone into voting on a answer if rejected or approved and at the moment I am 20days.
Likewise, I still have one from 2018 that's been upgraded and still is not in voting. I'm sure it's a different issue but it would be real nice if those would eventually move along
I had one that was upgraded in OPR for months from 2018, and it only got moved forward when the PoGo review-pocalypse happened. (and rejected for too close).

Just had a portal accepted email, key is in my inventory. Im in the UK. Also had a few things finally shift to ‘in voting’.
Portal processed email received at 6:44am ADST. Seems like it is working again, unsure if it's slow or normal though.
So they were indeed in holiday or maintenance mode
@NianticBrian Could we get a nod of acknowledgement that this was simply a stalled system that had to be restarted when everyone got back to work...
Thanks @NianticBrian
Lol OK. A 2020 bug as well? xD
Hi folks,
I'm happy to let you all know that this issue has not only been resolved but that the Wayfarer team is working to make sure that the backlog that was created is imported by the end of the week.
Thanks to everyone who flagged this to me!

This problem has been happening again for 3 days, in my city.

I still have a submission (upgraded) in queue from December 26th. Pretty sure it's not been completely fixed.

That's old enough you should contact support about it, they may be able to unstick it.
I did. Twice. They pretty much said sorry, working on fixing it. Still stuck.

I will note that this was finally processed and I got a rejection for this submission yesterday.
