PoGo **** business
Ok, Nia, your pockestop creation scheme is a little bit skrewed up. You have to stop making pockestops with moved portals. Or Your portal base will be crapped.
Pokemon Go players abuse wayfarer system to got more pokestops then was intended
Russia, Moscow, Kremlin. pockemons with portals (and grenades):
these portals moved from its row to be a pockestop. So funny.

We already saw this for example in Spain

Hello Agent,
do you ever ever feel lonely? I sometimes feel lonely,
best,

Lmao @ Spain. Wow, how? Hope the people who made this all got banned.
And then there are my friends and me, slightly annoyed that we can't request POI edits through PoGo on stuff which is legit up to 1,5km away from its original position. Set and accepted wrong and by Ingress players, even though Google Maps showed enough evidence to proof the stuff was placed wrong. Well, 2 of them were finally requested for moving just recently after years of being wrong, but one apparently failed while the other succeeded.
It's not pogo players moving these portals its ingress players.
@Dazzz12345 I understand your point and you are correct. Respectfully I believe many edits originate from cross-platform players with the intent to create more PokéStops & Gyms, and now a large portion of the reviewer base are PoGO players who can take advantage of weighing the votes for edits made by those players.
I think this is usually done in good faith and to benefit the PoGO community, however there are instances where it can have a negative impact on the Ingress community.
Again it is still ingress players yeah. If niantic opened up the cells as other niantic games it would stop many edits.
Techicaly YES. It's Ingress players. but these fake moves are made in the interests of pogo. AND with pogo wayfarer monkeys . AND with the knowledge that they are moving portals to fake locations for their own benefit
I've moved all that portals to their exact locations in April, and now it's all ruined.
Thank you for PoGo wayfarer, NIA
What about exact locations of portals next to your home?
What else did you expect?
Cultural and historic, they said. Beautiful example, they said.
Obviously they're picking things that the majority of reviewers rated 5* in that category, yes?
Doesn't matter what way you look at it they have a high lvl Ingress account. So they are ingress players
Ignoring the stupid language of the Featured location, what about that playground doesn't meet criteria?
If everything else on that playground checked out I’d approve it. Players can’t help how the algorithm picks new Wayspots for the featured Wayspots.
Common place. Really. "Nominations that are mass produced art pieces or objects", as it is written in the criteria.
You are walking in a residential area. Look! Playground! What a beautiful portal! Walk 20 meters. Playground, wow! 50 meters. Playground! Wait? Another 30 meters. Playground. Oh, c'mon. Another 30m. Playgroud, ****. Should I continue?
Is this the future that Nia want?
Nobody argues. There are more players in Pogo. Pogo players bring money. Those who brings money are better heard.
Our old OPR has died. Viva la Wayfarer!
I have never edited portal locations to wrong places, and I don't even hack one of such portals after the last edit. You can ask other agents about that edits.
Also, submissions near true location followed by edit to real location is common practice to avoid 20m limit, you know. Most of agents do it at portal clusters
Any more off-topic questions?
Upd from @Hamsterrific: I did it because I play ̶I̶n̶g̶r̶e̶s̶s P̶o̶G̶o̶ HPWU and want ̶p̶o̶r̶t̶a̶l̶ ̶g̶y̶m̶ tower at my bed
Considering playgrounds are and have been 5* candidates in the guide. Yes. Yes it is.
@NianticCasey this is what I mean about that mass produced guideline being misconstrued.
It's a place where community gathers and has fun in a save environment. This is the purpose of any Niantic game to support.
Доносчику первый кнут
No more questions. 🤣🤣🤣
Not every 50 meters the same playground. No, no and no.
It's legit, but its a **** portal. Portal submissions went away the first time, they (Niantic) indicated they wanted high quality portals. Same after portal submissions came back. Now, it's basically anything that "promotes exercise" (laughable criteria).
So much **** coming thru wayfarer, so many portal location edits, ect.
Watching dead areas suddenly spring to life with 20+ bench plaque portals.
Watching every single sign in parks pop up as portals, but not being able to locate the sign when at the park(s).
House portals a plenty popping up as all kinds of fake names, ect.
At this point, the ball is completely in Niantic's court. @NianticBrian this is something that Niantic is going to have to figure out. Go take a sample of the last 10,000 portals that went live. Now sample it down to what the portals actually are. Take a look. Analyze the findings. Are these the quality portals that Niantic is seeking?
@EvilSuperHeros I agree completely and I would go as far to say all of the agents on the UK XFAC Wayfarer Chat agree with you.
Specifically @NianticBrian or whoever needs to look at the platform that the subs are coming from as well.
However if we **** off subs from one platform but still grant those users Wayfarer access (and we all know how well that's gone down among frequent reviewing communities), we run the risk of everything being 1* out of spite.
I daresay the next AMA is going to be very interesting if Niantic haven't publicly decided how to move forward from here.
that is valid per niantic guidelines.
At this point most things are mass produced. All those exercise stations etc. come from a small amount of manufacturers. Please be real. Not everything has to be handmade one off.
Remember this one thing. It is not all about what agents want. Niantic will likely tweak the guide again but a lot of these complaints are going against what niantic is asking for. They ask for playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, etc and there is people saying I don't agree with this etc. well lets be honest just because you don't agree with it doesn't make it invalid sorry. We can all have our own opinion on things. I have seen more people try to stay in guide or get quality things from the seer era if they don't know the guide or look and it is still better than some of the early submissions. I am sorry but trying to project that one side is right and the other is not in guidance when quite frankly people learn from their mistakes and what is going is people being harsh and judgemental towards a community from the get go and that is not fair or should even be acceptable. I feel like what is going on is the community instead of trying to work through the growing pains and try to reach out to communities and show the guidelines or attempt to give people a chance. I think niantic needs to see real cases of forgeries or houses etc but acting like the system is devalued and worthless when it was opened to more people is very selfish. I mean I am for adding more waypoints but trying to stop the presses because a small amount of trash passes? Just from all of the recent comment threads that is common theme sorry for being frustrated but the frustration could be put to good. I play both games and I am unhappy to see these comments when I see people trying their best to get a valid waypoint in areas that don't have them or seeing quality submissions from long time L40s new to the system. I enjoy seeing good waypoint submissions. I recently got the art museum in Roswell New Mexico that was cool.
Locally we now have one suburb where it seems every single bus stop has been submitted, all with near identical descriptions and supporting statements. The number seen so far could not have been submitted by a single account.
It's a playground, an easy 5* candidate. If you're going to whine about the volume of 5* candidates that aren't very unique from each other, are you going to say we should only approve some churches too? Don't bend criteria to what you want when Niantic clearly has THEIR criteria that you're supposed to follow
stupid language
Realistically we need Niantic to decide to not have every point of interest in Ingress, it should be a strategic game, it’s a totally different game style than PoGo/HPWU which need lots of points of interest.
my town currently has 164 portals many of which I’ve added myself in line with guidelines at the time they were submitted, however I would right now only be happy to argue that 48 of them are “high quality ingress portals” and that is the difference. 116 of the portals aren’t good ingress portals but make fantastic PoGo/HPWU locations
looking around at my nearby villages I found a similar rate, between 1/3 and 1/4 of the portals I think should stay in Ingress while the rest are great for the other games
