So instead of a united discussion of when we can get the "missiong CAG items" over to "Potentially Confusing Nomination", we just have to of us bickle, fight and call names to get the attention of _every single item_ .
Now, are we doing a thread about "Antique/Rustic Farm Equipment" next? I can be the bad gut this time.
Pokemon reviewers likely outnumber Ingress reviewers 10:1, any clarifications made on the Ingress forums or guides no longer available might as well not even exist if they aren't put into the Wayfarer help or some place made known to them.
Thanks @NianticCasey. Any chance we can get this (and the other Wayfarer clarifications you've been helpful with) added to the Wayfarer Acceptance Criteria Update Log?
It's also posted to the Wayfarer Discord which helps a little bit. But yeah needs to be in Wayfarer, same with the other clarifications Casey has been able to get us.
Eh and yet people are dumb enough to approve neighborhood entrance signs but act like the actual valid poi at apartment complexes is a 1*. Oh and now got local pogo players downvoting trail markers with temporary or seasonal display and pedestrian access as reject. Or the fact people are admitting to voting yes on lake fountains but moving the pin solves issues. There needs to be some sort of increased oversight and communication with the pogo community because there is a lot of false information going around people are literally taking unofficial sources and running with it.
@Perringaiden I'm working closely with the team that manages the Help Center to find a better way to not only source these clarification requests but also distribute them to folks who are reviewing nominations.
Related to your feedback @kholman1, there are quality checks that are in place to make sure that reviewers aren't just approving things **** nilly, we've already removed some abusers (both Ingress and Pokémon GO players) who have failed these checks consistently. But I hear you about the unofficial sources of information.
I've been following a global Wayfarer group on Pokemon and am quite fairly demoralized now. They do NOT understand the PRP rules, and are approving LFLs even at forbidden easements. That the Wayfarer site isn't being supremely explicit as to the PRP definition isn't helping our case @NianticCasey
There is a plethora of wayfarer sadness in that group, and I assume many like it throughout the world. But it's all ****-a-mole: even when you CAN eventually refute and correct one individual, another takes its place.
One of the most recent ones is a mural painted on a pathway. Given the only available picture in the thread, it's the side of a PRP and thus ineligible.
It is irritating when I submitted community commons months ago that got approved just now is it not "okay" according to some who don't know what they are doing. I mean I have heard people submitting trash because of rumors other regions are sneaking it through so they thought it would be wise to submit the flag pole, Quite frankly I expect take downs to happen if they get removed and only blame the submitter trying to get invalid portals approved and trying to follow what they think is the flavor of the month submission.

Haha as if that will stop it. Set an example and remove them when they're reported.

Naughty @NianticCasey, you can't say ****! 😂😂😂
A pop up when we click to review on Wayfarer whenever there are updates to the log would be amazing!
So many people on Reddit asking about things that are already answered in the log.
More like 50:1 if the number of devices with the apps installed is any indication.
The ratio is likely even higher, considering that a lot of PoGo players install Ingress just so they can get access to the intel map.

There is been a complete reversal in some cases people are going for the entrances of apartment complexes and are denying what niantic said was valid.

Pogoers don't care what the guideline says, if bans start appearing for consistently poor subs they'll just sub on their throwaway 2nd or 3rd account.
There's not enough fingers to plug the holes in the dike!
Circling back, this never appeared anywhere and now we've lost the clarifications that we did get from the October AMA...

WHAT?! Why was W i l l y censored?!?!?!?!
Why can’t you say w i l l y? Can you say farts?
Just looked it up. Apparently the meaning of the word was twisted into forum inappropriate slang.
In Australia, it means todger, and has done for decades.
If I want a bad gut, I'll eat some dodgy Chinese takeaway! 😋
Because he never was free.
