#BannerRuck 3.0 is Here!
Get ready to stay warm this Winter, Agents (and even warmer for our friends in the Southern hemisphere)! It's time for another GORUCK #BannerRuck Challenge! Here's how to earn the brand new #BannerRuck patch:
1. Grab at least 3 friends and at least one who has never rucked before (at least 4 agents total, the more the merrier!)
2. Put at least 10 lbs in your ruck and load up that #Ingress mission banner you've always wanted to try. Or, make a new one! It should have at least 10km walking distance.
3. Post your completed adventure photos to Instagram before January 20 with the following hashes: #bannerruck #goruck #ingress Make sure to tag us @goruckingress. Include photos of the ruck, your completed banner screenshot, and proof of at least 10km walked from your tracking app of choice.

Can I submit a series of hiking missions with a goruck/ingress Banner ?
Is there high res GORUCK artwork we can use to create a banner specifically for this?

There are lots of resources and images available with a Google image search. We're okay with you using the GORUCK logo for the purpose of mission banner images.
I made my first missions and my first banner. We hope to complete the walk/hike on Sunday November 24 in the second coldest capital city in the world Ottawa.

Why must everything with Nitanic be so dysmally frustrating... As indicated above the GORUCK images are fair game for creating missions.... yet I get this:

Are other GORUCK images okay, just not this one? Why wouldn't this one be okay?

Yesterday, a group of 11 Ingress agents and 1 canine set out to complete this banner series in Colorado for Banner Ruck 3.0.
The weather was a nice sunny, 40-50s's and lightly breezy. We had 5 new folks who had never done a ruck before who were largely inspired to join because of the pet food drive idea that @Tinkerbe11 thought would be a nice synergy with Banner Ruck. Instead of lugging around ruck plates, most agents chose to carry 10+lbs of pet food that would be donated at the conclusion of the ruck. The rucking was awesome (my opinion) and the mission mostly hassle free (a few missed hacks caused some agents to ruck extra kms).
In all, a lot of pet food was donated to the Longmont Humane Society last night, to help fill the urgent needs on their wishlist https://www.longmonthumane.org/?q=wish-list
At approximately the halfway mark a local Enlightened agent @JenTil, surprised us by meeting us on the trail with cookies!

100% completion rate for the 11 ruckers, the canine was too tired to have her picture taken at the end (she's snoozing in the truck).
In closing thoughts, this was a great way to spend the day with friends old and new. Get out there on foot and explore your world, you never know what adventure awaits! You may even find a tractor stuck in ice like we did!
