Fracker 25-pack now available on the Store

After reviewing recent portal fracker purchases and how they're used by agents on the field, I've added a new, larger bundle with the Fracker 25-pack at 56,000 CMU. I've also reduced the price of the Fracker 10-pack from 29,800 to 28,800 CMU. (Please note this change is unrelated to legacy modem speeds.) Thank you.

Would be great if frackers and beacons didn't count towards the item limit. Buying 25 frackers at once is not attractive because until you need them they take up valuable inventory space.
Can we expect price adjustments across the baud?
Is this because fracker use was lower than expected or higher than expected?
I'm struggling to picture a use-case for a 25-pack of frackers that doesn't involve the majority of them sitting in inventory for months.
@jsylvis fracker usage is healthy leading into the anomaly events, but I've also been looking at what quantities people purchase CMU and how much CMU they choose to use versus store on their accounts. I'm experimenting with larger bundles here, but also plan to add new smaller bundles of different items (ex. 10-item "Nano Packs") in the near future.
Yeah. Locally, before the frackers doubled in price, we used 4-6 to help prep agents for an anomaly. Now, we just farm longer.
The anomalies I've been to have generally involved farms leading up to the event, and frackers were involved... but not so often that such a large bundle made sense.
Edit: I'm very curious about how widespread fracker usage is to make such a large bundle worth it. Back when _other sources_ of data existed, which definitely covered anomaly periods, fracker usage still wasn't that high.

Or players may be less frugal with them if they buy in bulk. So how about a Costco sponsored capsule that hold cmu items without counting them against inventory.
In my experience, the players hardcore enough to use frackers and prep for anomalies are also the ones who don't want to have 25 item slots dedicated to something they're not using anytime soon.
That's awesome! I love them for rural anchors so I can farm keys and to decay them so I don't BAF myself for more than a day. I'll be sure to buy the new size when I'm low next
As a follow-up, I've also added an updated Nemesis Pack to the Store's fracker category, which includes 13 portal frackers and 3 Nemesis beacons (33,600 CMU).
Honestly.. if that 25-pack was at a price range of around 40000cmu, the discount may have tempted me to actually forfeit that inventory space...
But we'll see, if they do sell in significant volumes, they'll remain, if not, I expect them to be taken out of the store.
Anyone have the cost analysis compared to the old cost?
I haven't put one cent into cmu since the prices went up.
@Deaf1 (Edited) I believe the old cost for the Fracker 10-pack was 14,900 CMU, so 1,490 CMU per fracker. New Fracker 25-pack is 56,000 CMU, so 2,240 CMU per fracker. New Fracker 13-pack (Nemesis Pack) is 33,600 CMU, so 2,585 CMU per fracker
A few months back, it went from 14,900 up to 29,800 which is what everyone got upset about initially. Basically a $10 purchase of CMU used to give you a set of 10 frackers. Now that got doubled, because you have to buy the 32,000 CMU.
Back in August this price change happened.
@Perringaiden you're right, before the Fracker 10-pack was temporarily set to 24,000 CMU, prior to Aug 14, 2019 it was previously 14,900 CMU. I'll edit my previous post.
