successfully submit any decoded Anomaly code during the Anomaly period.
How many "encoded" Anomaly codes expected/roughly ? and difficulty?
Will details be described on the rule document?
--- I dont want to "waste" my money XD
Now that the rules for Umbra have been released I'd also be interested in this as well. I can decode, but I'm not the best at it, and I just don't want to waste my money.
I was thinking $20 isn’t too much of a loss if I’m not able to decode anything. Might be worth it.
The two factions will have mechanisms to make sure the encoded texts from the players on-site get distributed to the off-site-players that work on decoding them. They will certainly try to make sure every decoder gets to use at least one code. Register with your faction POCs.
That's... completely wrong.
The Anomaly rules state "At the beginning of the three-hour Anomaly Period, each registered Onsite and Offsite Agent for that city will be sent an email with links to a number of miniciphers specific to their city."
I'm all for more remote participation options that cost money. Makes ingress more sustainable and gives less of a carbon footprint. BTW money will always be a factor because of plane tickets, gas, hotel rooms etc. I am sure badge buying is a big part of the profitability as well.
