We as POCs for Ukrainian part of #8 Trickster Avenir Shard team strongly believe that Belorussian Enl agents @Zversky and @hrrich have stolen that shard from The Third Angel portal in Chornobyl, Ukraine, to bury it in Minsk and to strengthen hostile tensions not only between two factions, but also between their so-faction allies in different countries.
@Zversky is widely known as strong anticipant of XFac of any kind. He is ardent oldstyle player and guardhunter.
MSP is a portal with limited access at the territory of the Minsk Tractor Plant (MTZ). Two old active and stubborn Enl agents and one low-level time-to-time playing Res agent work there. So Minsk Enlightened community uses that portal as an anchor for fields and starlinks.
The fact that now the #8 shard is not captured could be an evidence of attempt to "murder and bury" in process.
It will bury work of united cooperative work of Ukrainian and Polish agents of both factions.
So we as POCs for Ukrainian part of #8 Trickster Avenir Shard team ask you to force the jump of the shard from MSP portal in Minsk, Belarus to any portal with more open access.
That would be a full-fledged intervention into the gaming process. I hope that Niantic wouldn't do something like this. The agents who took the shard didn't violate the ToS. They simply did what they thought was right.
Why exactly should NIA act against those agents who use completely ToS-compliant means to achieve their own goals in the game? Just because you want to steal the shard? Or because you accuse honest Enl agents of trying to incite hostilities without any proof at hand?
And what? Enl and Res agents have access to this portal, fev of them but they can physically access portal. It's completely legal and falls under portal criteria. So agents who moved the shard on that portal didn't do anything wrong. In fact this is your fault that shard was moved away from you and your plans.
In previous shard games there has been a rule that if a shard didn't jump for 3-4 consecutive periods then it would randomly teleport to a nearby portal. I wonder why that rule hasn't been included for this event.
Granted, there's no violation in burying a shard at a limited access portal, but it's a bit like stabbing the football with a knife because you doubt want anyone else to play.
This XF shard thing has nothing to do with the game I once started to play, and really enjoyed for a number of years. If this is the way forward, good luck and happy times agents!
You're assuming that this is done out of mailice - personally (although I'm nowhere near a shard) I'm cheering on the blockers. In my city gameplay is pretty stagnant, so I can't gain much AP unless my portals decay. I don't want the 'reward' of slower decay, that would leave me with nothing to do in game. I want the 'punishment' of faster decay, so I can go out and enjoy playing the game more often.
I can see the benefits of faster portal decay, as well as the new strategies this would bring to the table in the short term, but I am personally glad we cleared this event officially now thanks to the badge which I need, and hopefully the increase in flip card drop rates soon as well which will be useful to me.
I like the premise here. It's all about working together to get the shards to their destinations. It also feels like a live action role play event. Avenir is attacking and we have to defend!
And, when I think about it, I like the fact that this challenge makes agents change their playstyle. If a challenge made people do what they would normally do, then I think it wouldn't be a very exciting or notable challenge. Instead agents would do what they've always done, and maybe play a little more to meet challenge requirements.
That said, I don't think I'll participate because I don't expect a shard to move where I live, but you never know. I think it would be exciting if a shard appeared close to where I normally play.

Wow once youve quoted someone it is impossible to remove from text box. Do niantic do anything without bugs in it?
@DrThod would be neat if u have a google sheet for this for public viewing

The game is fair, there is no need for NIA intervention. All players have equal rights, why bother these players?
Ha-ha. May be ask Niantic to spawn shards at targets?

And for this they raised the helicopter forces?

This post is a lie, there is no Ingress agent callsigned 'Zversky'.
Hm. It is the game. Game of many people with different views on what the game and story should be.
So these 2 agents play in rules of the game. But not you - you ask NIA to brake te rules and move the shard?! Really? May be right into the target? 😄

Best regards!
So, NIA, please force already scored shards jump from targets to any portal - they also were "stolen" somehow from spawn (transit) portals...
For the glory of Nemesis. This world has to be destroyed!

Hah. Just ask Niantic to move target portal from Milan to Minsk MSP. They don't use it. So it seems to be another possible "honest" solution 😁
I'm proud of agents who create real challenges in this game.
Thank you @Zverski =)
We are looking forward to implementing his plan related to the shard of the Atlantic.
This is a funny thread *subs*
May I ask what is that portal and then which "criteria"? Do not know anything about it and it seems, to me, just a factory.
@Asso08 no, just no. That’s not how that works

To all the Xfac haters in this thread:
Enjoy the badge.

To all the people who are complaining about cross faction shards:
We're having fun. You?
RE: "To all the Xfac haters in this thread:

I should think that all the haters are avoiding hacking during the event so as to avoid receiving the badge.
