@Hosette@Morganza some of the features here are a first step that we can revisit after Mon, Sept 30. As you mentioned, copying the portal location to clipboard isn't the same as "NAVIGATE to portal" on Redacted, but we still felt it would be useful to add this option in 2.31.2.
@RuinDig copying the portal location to clipboard copies the address so it can be pasted into maps or chat apps. Example copypasta from the Bradbury Building portal in LA: 300 South Broadway Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013, USA
@a1mirr we worked with the Agent Stats team as we developed the feature to copy agents stats to clipboard so players on Prime would have a way to import their stats without needing to upload screenshots for optical character recognition. To use Agent Stats on mobile, navigate to https://www.agent-stats.com/, tap menu, "Import," paste the copypasta from your Ingress profile into Section C, then tap "Send data."
Hello Brian, I really want to commend the addition of exporting Portal locations in game.
However, in rural areas portals don't really have an address and could be like only for example "St2054, Kaltenberg, Germany" which is not really informative.
Simple lat-long would have been a better choice in this case. Also, the first assumption I made when reading the changelog was that it copies an Intel link which would have been massively handy as well.
Just downloaded the app find it a big weird that you can't suggest a portal location edit until level 12. Also I prefer the old design of showing how much ap you need for the next level.
With regard to portal location, I would have preferred to have Ingress open the installed navigation app like Pokemon Go does with its "View in Map" button on Pokestops and Gyms. You could then easily navigate to the location. And every navigation app also has a ton of possibilities to share information of a location to copy for a chat.
@NianticBrian XM viability has gotten worse on the Samsung Galaxy S9+. It is only visible during the intermittent "pulse" and invisible the rest of the time. I also feel that the map screen is way too clustered with the "nearby". The feature was useful when I first started playing and didn't know where any portals were and didn't know about the Intel map. But now. it is a useless feature that does nothing but add clutter the map.
This is a big step forward. The 'long press for quick hack/no key' is something I've been waiting for to make prime my default. Now if they could shave a bit off the load times and RAM usage, I wouldn't miss Redacted at all.
I agree, its very bad on my samsung s10+, xm still only briefly more visible on the annoying pulse and then it really looks hard to see any xm.... its so much better on redacted why is still not solved ? I dont understand my phones hardware is top notch yet xm barely is visible... nobody at niantic plays prime with a modern samsung phone ?
I agree with previous posters that copy and paste of addresses is no good. Many Australian properties are large and pasting an address is ineffective as it can show kilometres away depending on the map used.
Coordinates are specific and can be pasted into any map site. This would be preferable for a future update.
Am I missing something or is the current AP completely gone? At least for recursed agents, I don't see current-recursion AP nowhere in the scanner anymore
TSV is a data file format. It has nothing to do with tab stops. It's similar to CSV (comma separated values) and is easily pasted into Excel from the clipboard.
I have one coming up soon, but I'm pretty green with data transfer. What would the actual mechanism be for transferring the data if we wanted individual agents to send their own stats?

Yeah this update is great! Good work guys! Everything feels more polished (especially glyphing!)

@NianticBrian Any update on fixing the linking bug introduced in 2.29.2 ?
https://community.ingress.com/en/discussion/3350/prime-2-29-2-linking-behaviour
Why? It doesn't do anything if you touch it. And the dialogue box auto dismisses on touching anywhere on the screen.
First thing I look for was portal edits and to see it's actually on there is great. Can finally uninstall Scanner Redacted now.

EDIT: Typo

Wich one? I never get any problems linking (don't use it so much on prime yet).
Also:
Was that flipped? It's feels really weard to me recharge from the left side.
This is the bug people are mentioning: https://community.ingress.com/en/discussion/3350/prime-2-29-2-linking-behaviour
Seems pretty good. Now se need just wait to get that on good use.
People will flood the OPR with portal edits then.
I actually think this is a good idea. By level 12 you should be a ‘mature experienced’ Agent to ethically make suggestions to portal edits etc.
Just paste the stats from the clipboard into Google Sheets and they are easily readable

Thank you @NianticBrian for this announcement of improvements and fixes, sure Prime would start even more instead of Redacted on my phone.

I would love to see the glyph line get shaped and cleaned up more. (The line that connects the dots during a glyph sequence.)

Nearby portal feature is only visible until a Portal loads on the map.
Fantastic update notes.

Great work team.
The nearby portals completely covering your avatar is extremely annoying... Who thought that was a good idea?? We need to be able to turn that off
Then use bigger tabstops.
TSV just means there's a (single) HT character between adjacent columns. How that's displayed is up to the receiving application.
Still waiting for an update on this issue:
https://community.ingress.com/en/discussion/2959/feature-request-move-additional-portal-photos-to-a-separate-screen
Great update! Please re-enable swiping from hack, directly into command glyphs! This went away earlier this year and I'm still missing it.
See video for how it used to work: https://youtu.be/Yj4vMk3CEY8

So - it should be easy for a FS in that case?
