Niantic’s newest game, Monster Hunter Now, launches later this month. Within the debug code of Ingress is this line.

BN = Beacon
MHN = Monster Hunter Now
PALICO = The little feline companions you have in the main series Monster Hunter game are called Palicos

You say possible, to me, it seems pretty much confirmed. The question is how the crossover will take shape and if it includes stuff outside of the beacons.

I just like to share info with others here and generate some discussions. Don’t really care for the likes or disagrees. Just makes me wonder that no matter what I post, whether it’s official news or thoughts about Ingress I get disagrees. 🤷

Peridot. NBA.
That was a cross over event? Huh.
The Harry Potter one was meant to be as they have Platform 9 & ¾ and we got 1.9 and ¾ AP.
It wasn’t much of one but I guess WB wouldn’t allow much crossover.
We all knew NBA wasn’t going to last.
I suspect they’re hoping for Peridot to stand on it’s own without any crossover but maybe we will get one for it’s anniversary?
Do the crossovers really matter?
Not really but if we have one the other way, maybe it’ll scoop up some new players for Ingress

The Ingress community always welcomes newcomers who adhere to the Terms of Service.
But we don't like new players who don't understand the Terms of Service.
It's that simple.
Most of us agents in the Ingress community are not interested in accomplishing big jobs, winning anomalies, or doing meetups, with alternative accounts.
So I hope Monster Hunter NOW is not contaminated by people with alternative accounts like Pokemon GO.
The other Niantic owned game has also joined in. Guessing the Pokémon & Pikmin teams said no.
Free beacons for ingress players
I’m sure someone on these forums will still complain about the chance (as you can choose to not claim it) to get free items.
Of course they will, free AP is a no-no for some :-)
Beacons are kinda harmless.

There goes NIA using Ingress to promote other games but still won't promote Ingress....
