Lightship-Only Wayspots and Missions

Wouldn't it be nice if missions could use Wayspots that were approved but didn't make Ingress inclusion rules? Like Field Trips. Add these invisible Wayspots to the Field Trips database! (The mission action would be "Visit" instead of "Hack".)
Then at least we could see the POI we thought were interesting, and reviewers agreed. In something. (Even tho we'd rather see them in-game all the time.)
Also this could encourage people to make new missions so their stranded nominations could be seen - useful for Second Sunday, which may perpetually be six missions. (Or an AgentOp task might include doing one mission.) And, people do missions even not on 2S, lol.

This isn't going to work very well, while the idea on the surface appears good.
It is worthwhile taking a step back and understanding what Missions are intended to work, by means of players walking and exploring.
Something like the Space Needle or the Sigarda Familiar are grand Mission banners and you explore so much of a city
I wholeheartedly disagree.
Sometimes, the good/interesting portals don't make it to ingress because others exists near it.
If I had the option to include "super interesting thing in Lightship" over "trailmarker #39294749 in Ingress", missions would become more interesting
Before that can be done, low quality portals need to be removed from the Ingress field.
