Questions about glyph hacking complex & more

Hey,
I have seen a video on youtube with someone who wanted to show a trick with heat sinks. The trick itself was more or less bad, but the guy showed that you can set multiple glyph modifiers (he first drew complex, then more, both were accepted by the game). I asked him if this still works and he said yes.
Right now my playstyle is mostly under-field linking in 20-30 portal cluster in my hometown. So, a big problem is getting enough keys, also not wanting to wait all the time because "MORE" is too slow (I'm usually hacking lvl 1-2 Portals). To combine MORE with COMPLEX would be my dream come true, sadly I tried it 5 times in a row on different lvl 1 portals (portals that I already had keys of, 5+) and I got no extra keys. Did the same with MORE on the same portals and I got 3x 2keys and 2x 1key ... so it seems like they don't really mix.
What do you know about this topic? Have you encountered this?

The "More" command isn't guaranteed to give you more keys, but it improves the chance and quantity that they can drop.
You can combine key and speed commands.
Yeah, it doesn‘t provide more keys, but the keys you have in your inventory are not counted in, so very often you get 1-3 keys
They absolutely do mix.
I'm not 100% certain of this because I rarely hack low-level portals but I believe that higher-level portals drop more keys (on average) with the more command.
I tried again. Had 3 keys, got a 90% speed, 2 keys. That would not have been possible without more having an effect on the itemroll. Im convinced 😀
I use complex and more when micro fielding. 1-3 keys. Completely random. Sometimes I get zero keys. Bring heat sinks and reset your hack count or glyph again right away.
If you are continuously fielding the same area, save your keys that you don't use for the next time.

This. I often keep 2 keys for each portal I regularly field as sometimes the portal gods do not want to give up their precious keys or I'm in a rush.
I have had conversations in the past that lower level portals seem to give more keys but I've never made the link with complex which I just thought sped up the glyph sequence?
I will regularly walk between the portals and deploy whilst waiting for the hack cool down and after a couple of hacks use a heatsink to reset the counter as sometimes this is all that is needed to get the keys I need.
Have you bought the keylockers?
I have 5+ keys of everything in my cluster. I also visit the cluster when shopping.
yes, i have 5 key lockers, but most of the stored keys were for a flip flop field, which i never built.
I can assure you it works to combine those commandos 😄 since I only glyphhack (if not taphacking by misstake) and I only glyphacks on complex.
If I dont want any keys I use less, and when I want keys I use more.
But ofc I wont get keys always, especially when wanting the key to badly 😂 but that is rng.
"More" gives you more chances for a key, independently rolled, based on how well your glyph score is. It doesn't guarantee a key and the up to 4 extra keys you can get, are all calculated independently, so you might get lucky and get 4 (with a well glyphed P8), or 0 even with a well glyphed P8.

that woudl be nice to be able to chose default speed, simple/normal/complex.
lower than complex is boring. i would love a supercomplex that add stuff if 100% correct

I desperately want to set complex to be my default so I don't have to enter it every time, and occasionally mess it up and have to wait through a slow glyph sequence. I'd also like it if I could just see all five glyphs at once rather than having them flash one at a time.
The game first checks to see if you already have a portal key, then does a probability calculation to figure out if the "more" glyph will grant you more keys.
Putting the keys into a Capsule is one way to trick the game to think that you don't have any keys for said portal.
Using a fracker on said portal will grant you double of everything with each hack for 15min
