What happening the hypercube codes
Please keep hypercubes codes why they is disappearing codes and Please make some new ones
Can't redeem a code more than once.
At a guess poster is complaining about the limited time to redeem the codes these days....
TBH they should reward players for going and meeting other agents to build farms. Stop handing out hypercubes, start handing out free hack mods.
I agree, if they really wanted people to "go out and play" they would stop making it so easy to sit at home and play.
Given Niantic's changes in Pokemon, that may be on the cards for Ingress too, but by the same token, simply not giving them constant hypercubes could have the same effect as people run out of cubes trying to maintain 600 portals in their local area.
They have at least been changing around the Master Code rewards, I'm pretty sure they have used items for programs in lieu of hypercubes.
You also now can see that getting 25 hypercubes isn't much - you can do 5 programs (10 L4+ powercubes) to make the 25 hypercubes.
For a single account it may not feel like much.
The problem, is backpacking who end up with hundreds and stuff them away monthly in other accounts. 10 accounts? 250 hypers per month, stacking with 20,000 spaces of storage.
But isn't multiple accounts a separate issue altogether? I feel like the master codes should require accounts to at least be a day old like Niantic did for the yearly awards.
The issue would still be present but it would be hard to implement a fool proof solution and risk legit players in the end.
Only if you have the kinetic capsules. They don't hack very often anymore. So, if you buy some kcaps, then yeah, you can easily make some hypercubes...but if you don't have the kinetic capsules...
It is a separate issue, but not one that Niantic seems to want to even take a **** at. We've all seen agents with multiple accounts. They aren't a day old accounts. Most are old accounts. Many of them have guardian badges, some even have verified check mark badges. (that worked out, well, didn't it?)
The verification badge comes from Google Niantic so I don't know why you're even bringing it up. At least they thought of a way to do verification to prevent backpacks but saw false positives. It actually did lock people's accounts too.
