Dear Niantic and dear Ingress agents,
I'm writing this post in name of ReplicantDrake, an resistance agent, who has been banned and he's not able to write this for himself because he can't log in the forum.

Dear Niantic,
I'm ReplicantDrake in Ingress game. I'm writing these words because It's unfair what's Niantic done to me.
Let me introduce myself. I started playing Ingress since 2018/earlies 2019. I discovered the amazing world behind Ingress very soon. Firstly, going to Amsterdam for Abaddon Anomaly, following next events like MD in Glasgow, Goruck events, Hexatlon in Oporto or Superposition Anomaly in Munich, travelling to these beautiful cities. The last one, I assisted to Yokohama for Ephiphany Anomaly and I made my first Urban Goruck or my third Operation Clear Field, meeting fantastic people during these events. I consider myself a good player, taking seriously the game. I love designing big fields and operation with other agents. Moreover, I pay religiously the C.O.R.E. fare.
Secondly, I want to apologize for the inconvenient, because I suppose a lot of people write to you explain their problems, but I do feel this act needs to be heard.
I'm on Christmas holidays doing a big OP in the North of Africa (with others resistance agents) when I was banned.
According to Niantic for harassment on the field!!!
Just a few hours of break a strategic enlightened link, and we didn't meet with any agent.

After lots of emails, trying to discover the real reason of my ban. Finally, they send me this email.

I hope all these evidences serve to prove my innocence, and finally Niantic decide to unban me.

Your reputation as a legal player is as great as your person.
It is difficult to understand how a player of this type can be unfairly punished with a 30-day ban, simply for being the subject of an unjustified report and that Niantic has prosecuted unceremoniously.
At this point, It's clear that the appeal system is not the solution, and that a disciplinary measure such as the one applied in this case should not be taken lightly, without the relevant investigation.
Obviously there is physical evidence and photographs of the trip made to Melilla, and snapshots of her presence on surroundings the portal object of the report, which ratify the actions carried out, without any type of spoffer or thirt party apps.
Let's hope that Niantic will study the case in particular and restore the account to the agent so that he can continue enjoying this great game.
I was false reported for the same. Apparently all they need to do is hit the right keywords in a mass report. My advice is never talk in comms again, and report everything they say that is reportable.
My false ban was finally lifted after 11 days but I had lost my sojourner streak of 1200 was gone and I needed to send an Agent a few hundred to drive a couple hundred KM to get to portals only I had keys for that were being kept alive.
Now it turns out that if I have to break a strategic portal, I have to document all my steps in case the "enemies" report me en masse and Niantic does not do its own checks. Next time I will inform Niantic first.

All my support to a player that I admire and respect as do players from both factions of our community. It is more than obvious that Niantic has made a serious mistake that sets a dangerous precedent and can end up breaking the game. Players without any principles, the real cheaters, cannot be allowed to organize a massive report to block a big OP, punish a player with a totally unjustified temporary or permanent ban and Niantic look the other way without giving a chance to defend themselves. to the affected player. Recently, I have heard about unjustified bans. Since they change the terms of service the bans are more random than ever. I have mixed opinions about that, Niantic don't respect enough the real players (like ReplicantDrake) and the spoofers are changing the game every day.

Firstly, all my support to agents @ReplicantDrake and @SeveruShei . I met them in person at Munich and writted many times before and are a true example for all the rest of the players of the game. As they post here they never played against the rules and TOS, and they have been in a lot of events around the world. It's an absolutetly shame what happened with this ban to a legal player only for a report that it's fake. That report is about of someone that wants to quit a player that is following the rules, and for my opinion this report should be reversed and applied to that player that send the report.
While there are a lot of accounts around the world that are bags of other players, and other accounts that are spoofing movements and being leveled up with a joystick and for many reports that players do that accounts doesn't have any strike or ban. It's a shame this situation.
I think all the people of NIA should know this case and take mesures, for one hand to the player or players that had made the report to @ReplicantDrake, and for the other hand to the worker of NIA that pushed the botton and send this ban to ReplicantDrake.

Genuinely hope that Niantic will save the respected agents walking around the world from the BAN with no clear basis.
