Agents,
In 2022, we have delivered live events that help this one decade of research on XM to advance:
- Kureze Effect
- Kythera
- Superposition (Primary Site at Munich)
- Epiphany Dawn (Primary Site at Los Angeles, upcoming Primary Site at Yokohama)
- Over 40 Ingress Mission Days
...and improvements that help keep Ingress going:
- Improving Portal History Layers with Inverted Highlight
- Matryoshka Link (Linking under Field)
- Dynamic Link to Portal, Ingress Mission, and Agent Profile
- Native Refresh Rate
- Audio AR and Head Tracking
- Purchasing item bundles from deploy/attack/inventory carousel
Going forward, we have plans to
- Improve Agent on-boarding
- Bring back Hexathlon in-game
- Introduce Player-versus-Environment (PvE) gameplay
- Bring Ingress First Saturday back to the real world
- Reopen Ingress Mission Day applications with improved process
To commemorate #IngressYear10, the following bonuses will be in effect between 10 November 2022 17:00 UTC and 21 November 2022 17:00 UTC:
- 2X AP on all actions
- 2X deploy L8 Resonators
- Drone cooldown reduced to 10 mins
- Hacks on friendly Portals will yield 2X amount of building gear (Resonators, Power Cubes)
- Hacks on enemy Portals will yield 2X amount of attack gear (XMP, Ultrastrike)
- Kinetic energy distance for all Programs reduced from 8km to 1.0km
- Up to 10 total Kinetic Capsule Programs can be activated in parallel
The Pathfinder Year 10 medal will be awarded to all Agents who’ve earned more than 0 AP from the Year 9 Anniversary (15 November 2021) through the end of Year 10 Anniversary celebrations (21 November 2022).
Medal distribution will take place some time after the Bonus period ends on Monday, 21 November (PT) and follows the same Medal tiers as Year 9:
- Bronze: Level 3
- Silver: Level 9
- Gold: Level 13
- Platinum: Level 15
- Onyx: Level16 Recursed Agents will receive Onyx Medals.

Level16 Recursed Agents will receive Onyx Medals.
Is this supposed to say Level 16 agents AND recursed agents (of any level) will receive Onyx?
Why the hell is the onyx medal light grey and not really dark like literally every single anniversary onyx medal before?
Pathfinder? Like the Nissan SUV? Horrible looking medal.

* Introducing PvE elements sounds great, and will appeal to a lot of players.
Caution here needs to be taken to ensure that PvP is also a priority whilst enabling PvE.
What will PvE be like? Will it mean the introduction of bounty boatds/quests?
How are these going to be monetized such that ayers can afford them, and help you @NianticBrian with the Ingress income?
But the body of the knight and the frame are black, so I think it is ok :)
Also, the design is horrible
So if I have two recursions and level 15 I won't get the onyx medal?
Don't they pay the designer of the medals enough?
Because they come making horrible medals.
If you reached L16 once, you get onyx, even if you Recursed and are now L1
It's probably supposed to say:

That makes sense. I was almost getting ready with a power leveling schedule :D.
When they say they are bringing back Hexathalon, do they mean as an event at a handful of cities, or as a broader global event?
And I’m super curious what PvE is going to be.
They mean a broader range of cities.
These were fun, and engaging, mini Anomaly-like events.
There is no reason that hexes can't be added to connected cells for Anomaly events.
PvE is something that we will have to watch out for next year

About the badge: It would look slightly better if the last two lvl would not look like the gears were made of some colored plastic. And speaking about Leonardo's robot, plastic is completely offtopic. Be metal ⚙️
The extra color if needed any, the lights from the helmets would be more than enough. Can one make a proposal to fix it? 😚

Maybe they are not doing so because, all easter eggs carefully prepared by them so that their talent could be presented, could not by shown then, as which I have summarized:
Under-field linking is a slap in the face of core ingress game mechanics; it disincentivizes large scale fielding operations because they are no longer "control" fields.

I was hoping they would add deploy x4 mods afterall its 10 years of ingress they could have added that aswell since they skipped halloween event for some reason.
Think of it as control fields weakening a portal's ability to push a link past 500meters. Also control fields are about mind control.
If your silly enough to have redeemed a code for a badge without know you have the badge, that's on you, some will purchase bundle for the gear anyway

So, we can have 10 kinetic capsule programs running simultaneously at 1 km... what happens when this creates a scarcity issue and most players dry up their RKC supply on the first day? My guess is that we'll see them in the store, but if not then Niantic will need to increase the drop rate or total uses of RKC if they want players to enjoy that bonus.
