As Russia and Belarus should be blocked from Niantic games, today an agent MrMaxim was playing at the island of Kotlin near St. Peterburg.

Playing in Russia does not violate any ToS rules.
However playing in Ukrain does as it's cleraly unsafe

For clarity, geopolitical sanctions are not "race, gender, age, religion, disability or orientation". They are completely based on nation states, and are intentionally a punishment for the bad behavior of a nation state. "Clever wordplay" isn't going to change the reality of the situation.
For clarity. I feel discriminated against: I can't get a work visa, I can't send my child to Europe for treatment, I can't continue to work for an international company. I am even deprived of this walking anti-stress game. When asked why - "because you are Russian."
As a result, I am forced to live in Russia, I am forced to pay taxes here and provide very qualified engineering services to this particular regime. But I do not support my government, I have a lot of illegal fines for the peaceful expression of this opinion. If I find myself in the police base again, then my child will be taken away by the guardianship authorities. Yes, in Russia parents are deprived of parental rights for refusing to be faithful.
I became a hostage of the regime on the one hand and unjustified discrimination on the other.
Tell me, smart man, what options do I have?
This is not something Niantic can fix. This is a video game for entertainment, not a geopolitical policy maker.
I am bumping this up as the original issue has not been addressed after 2,5 months of waiting.
There are still a lot of areas, mostly islands, which are not within the geoblocked area of Russia. It seems that the boundary of the Russian geoblock was drawn following the coast line instead of actual border on the sea.
Also, there are rumors that some portals located in Finland, near the Russian border, are still geoblocked. What would be a proper way to ask for "ungeoblocking" those cells?
Some kind of a response from Ingress officials @NianticCasey @NianticVK @NianticThia would be appreciated.

hello. not really about ingress, but territory. nia has several geo toys, but only ingress has been repressed. Is it correct?
I wish NIA never unblock Ingress in Russia. Really from my POV geoblock is a perfect reason to finally drop it. Let's just admit Ingress is bad in canvas of todays gaming reality.
I've taken all I could from this game. Few anomalies, few global OPS. I've made few videos for my youtube channel about ingress that nobody watch. For now i think that 4 ingress videos is more than ehough! BTW, here they are (may be at least some of u guys here like it):
The last case I'd like to talk about in this text is that guys like MrMaxim I'd say may be not MrMaxim personally, but other members of SPB Resistance community have always played the game in a dirty non-challenging manner. So I wish that if geoblock will ever be removed SPB resistence could play with themselves til' absolute exhaustion.

Unlike you, after seeing AA missiles flying over me and explosions from my window, and destroyed buildings in my city, with my own eyes - I'm simply not looking for excuses for them. I don't think if you were me, you would try to find an excuse for them, too. So please stop this. "There could be 10x people protesting, but all of them are busy explaining why it's not possible". Whatever a russian was doing all this time, if they're still paying taxes which go towards financing the army, for me personally they're guilty. If not everything is so clear for you, for me it is, because taxes from every one of them are parts of missiles that fly at me. Don't tell me they don't have a choice, everyone always has a choice, they're making a miserable one. It's never too late to do something right though...
