IOS 16 Intel Map
in Report a Bug
I am consistently getting multiple colors blue and green lines on the Intel Map which does not happen in the prime app or on a computer. Fields and links both have a combination of blue and green.

Yes, this is an issue on iOS 16. I just found out today that this isn’t happening to everyone in my community. Posted on our First Saturday chat. I quickly discovered this issue started when I switched to iOS 16 beta.
@NianticBlue @NIACHAOSMONKEY @NIACHAOSMONKEY @NianticAustin iOS 16 is roughly a week away from launch and intel maps are going to be very messed up unless this gets fixed. Attached are multicolored links and blur links making green fields.
The forum will not allow me to post pictures of my intel, but I have them if you need them. Not sure why new members who want to report bugs, and the bug reporting instructions say to attach screen shots, but you don’t allow it………this also seems broken (from a founding player: long time listener, first time caller).
Yup, but it's not limited to the latest iOS 16, it's also present on the latest iOS 15 release.
Problem exists on stock intel as well as IITC.
Since it's not limited to the iOS 16 Public Beta, I suggest fixing it with priority. iOS 16 has gone into the release candidate, so the final release is also imminent.
I'm investigating, and I can repro this across Safari and Chrome on iOS 16. I wasn't seeing this on iOS 15.6.1, and we haven't changed Intel Map, so I've asked Apple for help trying to understand what's new in their OS update that might help chase this down. Thanks.
maybe not limited to intel??

@Jo0Lz does that client issue only happen on iOS 16 and iOS 15.7, or was that also happening before? That looks like it may be a different issue than what's happening on Intel Map. I suspect what you're seeing might be z-fighting with multi-layered Fields.
I can’t say, it has been a long time since there was a field over my area… I noticed this during my walk this morning, a resistance agent made a multilayer over my multilayers.
I guess the cause is different because technically they are completely different issues, but I immediately thought of this and thought it might help.
I’ve never seen fields behave like that before.
They have a workaround ;)
I can confirm this is also reproducible on MacOS.
These wrong colored lines are also visible on single links, not only multi-layered fields.
I have not noticed this in IOS 15.6.x, just updated to 15.7 and it still works.
I updated another iphone to IOS 16.0.2 and there the incorrectly colored lines are visible.
is there a fix in progress ?
Can the workaround be applied to intel? Or do we need to wait for a new Safari/WebKit release?
It’s fixed in iOS 16.2 (I’m running the beta). Don’t know about 16.1.1, but you’ll have to update to resolve it.
Not yet fixed in 16.1.1 :/
