Adventure Sync not working

The Adventure Sync doesn't work properly with the Ingress, if you go to the setting and activate the Adventure Sync with the checkmark, there should be a message "Adventure Sync is activated", but no such message comes up. If you close Settings and click Settings again and scroll down to Adventure Sync, the Adventure Sync tick isn't there.
What could this problem be?

I have the same issue ad logged a support ticket.
Ingress has all the relevant permissions and matching Google Fit account. Used to work until a few days ago.

Even more,installed fresh 2.96 and sync haven't enabled,the only workaround is to install 2.95,turn sync on and then update to 2.96
