My kinetic completed and the soft bank ultra link that down loaded. I attempted to start a new one and I was told I could not have 2 running at the same time. After 2 attempts to start a new kinetic my kinetic just vanished
My Kinetic capsule is not working either; same exact issues as reported above: duplicated kinetic (2 capsules shown), capsule doesn't replicate or allow me to "claim" the screen goes dark and I must restart it.
I walk a lot and really enjoy the Kinetic program. Please assist. Thank you.

My Kinetic capsule is not working either; same exact issues as reported above: duplicated kinetic (2 capsules shown), I attempted to start a new one and I was told I could not have 2 running at the same time and and when i try claim it locks the app so I have to restart the app.
My kinetic capsule went from 1km to 0 today. Restarted Ingress several times, walked 4 more km according to my trekker stat, and the kinetic still shows 0 out of 8 km.
update: deleted and re-installed Ingress, and the kinetic has ticked up slightly, but I’ve lost the 8km that I walked since the bug started (based on trekker stat update which had no issue).
The capsule worked well for one program after re-installing the game, then stopped working again when I started a new one. Reported it in-app: there is an option to report gameplay help, and a specific option for kinetic capsule not progressing. Hope the bug gets fixed for all of us…
Okay so I just got a notification for the first time in ages, your kinetic capsule has completed. I tap notification, no red dot in inventory, capsule is at 6.8 of 8km.
I restarted the game 5 times, and it’s still on 6.8km. These capsule issues are getting out of hand. :/
This is a regular thing now, getting notification at 50-70%, capsule not ready, also not after restart.
I just had this today. Currently seems to reset to today’s distance and lost my remaining km from yesterday. So my notification would have been correct if my kinetic capsule didn’t get reset.
I contacted support and they told me to uninstall and reinstall.

Sorry, but nope. No notification from the game; opened it just now; it states 10:27: Kinetic Capsule Ready.
I checked the inventory, it's sitting at 5.7/8.0 KM, restart doesn't do anything.
Today earlier i got a notification completed kinetic but it was at 7.5km even after restart so i had to walk the last 500m, but why do u get notification if its not completed?
Many users reports the same problem the distance doesnt match even if it says completed in notification or red dot.

Please check with the team, since completion of the last kinetic, it’s been stuck at 0.00 / 8.00 :(
so it’s beyond broken now.
This has been reported in multiple threads. It goes way beyond capsules not being ready when notified. We are getting credit for a mere fraction of the distance completed towards capsule progress. I documented and submitted bug report Sunday after noticing the issue a day or two earlier. I tried the reinstall as directed. That worked for one capsule. Would appreciate if Niantic would acknowledge there was an issue and give an ETA
