What are your goals in Ingress as a player for the rest of 2022? 2023 even?
in General
Is there a certain badge you’re trying to get? Trying to gain a certain amount of AP? Level up?
For me, it would be great to get back up to level 16 before the year ends. But that’s a stretch so I’d be happy with 14.

Just keep doing the same thing over and over again. For 8 years already :-)
I hope to achieve onyx on Pioneer, 6000 to go. And on explorer, 8000 to go. Before they turn Ingress off.
hope to get onyx in hacking before end of year otherwise not much goals xd.
get the onyx fs badge and then remove the app forever and forget it
I'm generally not stats-driven, but triple onyx purifier is calling out to me. I'm low-key working on double onyx pioneer (and explorer as a side effect) now that I can easily see my unique caps.
In reality, my goals are hard to articulate and not something I want to post here but they're about territory control changes rather than personal stats.
I need to finish my Onyx First Saturday badge, hope to attend a real anomaly again, hope to host a Lite version of Mission day, and keep working away at Second Sunday increments as well as getting wings on my Recon badge. It would be great to have real live First Saturdays again, but with the current passcode format I'm generally chained to my desk each month decoding!
For me its chasing badges, gotta love how versatile the game is
Well there's some goals for me here for the next few hundred years anyway...
4x trekker would be nice.
Overtaking a particular agent's ap score is still a year or so away.
Those are my two big goals.
Other than that a "real" F2F First Saturday and Anomaly within 600km from my house is what I want to see happen between now and end of q2 next year.
I'm currently bored / trying to decide what to work on next. Just finished up Wings for Mind Controller on Saturday morning. Basically everything game play (not event based) is onyx or has wings.
Would be nice to have something game play based to actually work on. Then again its heat warnings here all week long (high 90's to 100's F (36C-44C ish).
Lately, been enjoying geocaching more and more and hoping to couple that with adding some unique, interesting and very out of the way wayspots to use as anchors for big fields. Other than that, just low level playing, waiting for some new medals or excitement in the game. A couple months from wings on sojourner and going to let that go officially at 720.
Bored. I wanted to visit Munich but then putin decided for me that I shouldn't. So hopefully when we win the war and I'm allowed to travel abroad again, there will still be some Ingress events to use as a cause for travel, be it NL, Hexathlons, or at least Mission Days. The rest is not interesting anymore. Fielding is boring because multi layers are too easy. The only times I open Ingress lately is when I'm in some part of my city that is new to me, in hopes to capture some uniques.
Finish the purifier badge and then decide if the game is even worth continuing. The constant lag ruins gameplay. I don't understand why it's so difficult to create a working game. The original scanner was so much better. Don't really want to be the last player still playing the game so not sure I want to keep going. May just let it fade into oblivion. It used to be fun, now I'm not even sure what to call it. Maybe just boring.
Trekker lost meaning when Niantic decided to not act on spoofed step counts, despite many reports.
Cell wins will always be the goal.
In my box I earn trekker the hard way pounding pavement and slow public transportation. None of these put the phone and charger inside a sock under a vent, fan or air conditioner shenanigans.
Holding the box is always the prime (bad pun) directive then everything else.
Attend an IRL Anomaly.
Bring smaller scale events to areas traditionally under-served by Ingress.
Before or after the last quarter of 2022? Will Ingress even survive 2023?
I am close to onyx on builder, liberator and recon. I used to gain like 1-2 million AP every week; but I have not played that much since getting to L16 for the 6th time. I can't bother with the current game issues, and neither does the resistance, which means I have to let portals decay to capture them again.
Stale, boring gameplay as a result of the ongoing issues and players leaving because of it have stagnated my play. #sadpanda
I don't know, for me collecting badges in profile is like some kind of mental masturbation. Look how many times I've recursed, and how many badges I have on my profile... Ugh, what an abomination. Waste your life to increase the number in the profile, which will not affect the gameplay anyway. Although for some reason many people like a dull, monotonous grind.
Wings on explorer and pioneer
Reach 16...Again!
purifier on onyx. still a long way to go and it goes so slowly 😛
Getting Onyx in Explorer and Pioneer, Hopefully this year!
here's my shopping list
Portals owned is a fun one. Try combing that with fields and links active at the same time.
Wow, I have more than I thought. Great exercise!

Building - weird, I love building, but none of these are currently on my reach list (recently onyx'd Builder)
