I lost a fracker to "scanner communication error"

I modded a portal to farm keys for the EOS medal. Before fracking it, I glyphed hacked to check everything was in order. I put the fracker, then everytime I tried to hack or glyph hack this portal the "scanner communication error" message popped up.

During the fracker time I was able to glyph hack with the drone, but not the fracked portal.

After the fracker finished I was able to hack again. Then I put a second fracker and everything ran smoothly.

Still, I don't understand the cause of the error and why I had to lose my first fracker to it.

I hope you can fix it and give me back my fracker.
