Kinetic capsule stuck

My kinetic capsule has been working fine until recently. Right now it won't let me claim an SBULA that it says is ready, it just hangs with a black display. For a while it was telling me maximum number of capsules in progress after returning without the SBULA

Nope. The situation rectified itself after a couple of hours idling. I realized after submitting the ticket that Prime thought I had 2 kinetic capsules. One with an item to claim (but it lost it's marbles if I tried to claim it) and another capsule which, if I tried to program it, would say I had too many programs
Same problem:
A second kinetic capsule got to my inventory. Now I can't pick up the item of the completed capsule (the scanner changes to black only and nothing else happens). I can't remove the second capsule. Delete cache and data didn't help anything.
Therefor I need help by the Niantic Support.

Thank you @NianticThia - it looks like normal operation resumed later that day, not sure exactly when. The anomaly was noted mid-day and it resisted hard restarts and reboots of the phone so it seemed semi-permanent, but the 2nd capsule disappeared and I was able to claim the SBULA hours later that day on March 13th.
