Water drains/tiny streams are showing up clear & as thick as roads on the scanner. They do not have any pathways or pedestrian access.
This is annoying because while travelling we think we can access places via them but cannot.
Can you share a lat lon or Intel Map link, your device information (what phone and OS version you're using), and a screenshot of what you're seeing? Thank you.
Not the original poster, but I can also see it. Forgive my curde highlighting skills:
The "road" circled in white is actually a river. As far as I can tell, they follow the exact shape of paths in OpenStreetMap that are tagged as "waterway=river". Screenshot below, highlighted is the section on the left of the screenshot above:

^ one example of a "water-drain showing like a main road" here in Perth, WA.
[Ps: Also note, the fields not loading in scanner either (also another annoying bug) 😆 ...this is after refreshing remote view a couple os times (compare to above screenshot):]
Bumping this old bug report, as bodies of waters are now drawn on the map as such, but rivers and/or streams are still shown as roads. Perfect time to update these as well ;)
I love how it still says 'new report' when the thread is 7 months old.
It also appears that "Intermittent=yes" creeks (the nearby one isn't intermittent) also don't show up right.
Pictures stolen from @Khatre, top one shows 2.100.1, bottom 2.101.1. The Seine River in Paris is now correctly "filled in", but it still looks like there is a street that goes through the river. It seems like Ingress fills in OSM polygons that are tagged as water, but not single nodes and lines.
The line underneath is the old "River Marker". Niantic always showed rivers and creeks, but they looked like paths.
