Unable to claim kinetic capsule

As above, trying g to claim the kinetic capsule, but every time I do I just get the black screen overlay that usually comes when you claim it but no items, tried closing the game down and reopening as well as signing out and back in again, no change. I can back put of the screen to the inventory which is a little confusing as it's not like a complete lock up, but just means I can't claim my items

Update, it fixed itself, no idea how, I tried it periodically after this report and it just randomly worked

Bei mir lässt sich das Problem leider nicht beheben, versuche schon den halben Tag die Kapsel zu leeren und neu zu bestücken.
Same - can’t claim from kinetic just a black overlay screen and that’s where it sits game wise . Restarting and all that jazz no affect.

Have you submitted a ticket at https://ingress.com/support (click the chat icon in the bottom right of that page to start) ?
I've had this a few times. Keep trying and it will eventually work, it may take a bit.
clear cache of the app should help.
