I have been a CORE subscriber since the start, but I cannot justify it anymore for the fact that this issue persists for a year now without any solution.
Once this finally get's fixed I will re-think my CORE subscription.

Well, after 12 months I have also dropped my CORE subscription. Let me know once the latency issues are over.
I wish you the best of luck with your 'battle beacon' event, I can't even recharge portals when they are attacked now, so an event based on a real battle is not something I'm going to participate in.
My CORE dropped off yesterday due to the ongoing lag problems.
I have been a subscriber for exactly 12 months. I remember the things they would do when they announced CORE, I don't think they managed to do anything other than hiring Thia. I'm really stumped that even with all the drama, not one tiny effort has been made to improve communication or fix the issues we're having. Meanwhile the added Niantic Social was all but a hype for 5 minutes, I don't think I've ever seen anyone actually use it over Telegram or the other alternative communication methods.
I've lost all faith that this will ever get sorted. I'm seeing the other games dying, and I all I can do is hope someone is actually working on a fix. :(
One more week and then CORE is really gone, any hope of it being fixed in the meantime has reduced to zero now.
But still communicating ANYTHING on this issue would be a step in the right direction..
Cancelled my CORE today, I've been subscribed since the beginning.
Silencing the spoofer problems, dismissing in-app reports, and not fixing lags and bugs - I'm done.
