I simply reacted so some of the comments, including yours. If you are going to accuse someone, you have to look yourself in the mirror first. The BAF we destroy it ourselves after a few minutes. I thinks me stopping playing it the only thing that would satisfy you and it is not going to happen.
That's a very mature and well thought out response. Sounds more to me like you're just angry about a portal you thought was solid getting blown up. Has no Montreal ENL ever trespassed before? Where was all the fuss then?
The agents are only angry because they couldn't do their starburst. That doesn't make someone a toxic player. Capturing portals owned by the opposing faction is a big part of the whole game. Armadyl is certainly an enthusiastic agent, but he's also a level-headed guy.
To be honnest, had the local Enl talked to us about a Sarburst project (which is to me like field art), we could have cooperated to have it done. But it was not the strategy used and aggressive gameplay in the days before the attempt. A change of strategy and communication would have had different results but this post made things worse in an already difficult community relations.
The Enl chose their anchor in Mount Royal area, 15 minutes on foot from my home and it has has been my playing area since 2014.
The Enl choosed the highest anchor in Montreal. And sure, it was an aggressive way like you did every day before since months. Above all, don't change your playground. For my part, I'll leave it to you.
I'm well aware, you were gloating about throwing your ability to rethrow a field constantly from where no agents on ENL live when there is gluts of untouchable north anchors. You've killed any chance for a Ingress to be anything but a boring blue BAF fest Ad nausium out east.
Yet since a year we do our best to minimise desagrements by not leaving it up active most of the time but yes we made solid rails to secure setup. All legitimate gameplay, no gloating.
im not accusing someone i was just telling facts… and show the world how selfish you are with a sooo big ego that you are not able to see all the negativity you bring to the game…
and instead of calling someone a little library stealer know the facts… you know nothing about that story only rumours…
and no anything you do wont stop me for playing the game i like…. i will always be there… 😁 like it or not … peace out ✌️
Well that is the thing, not all you and others are saying are facts and this is all very public. Instead of using this, your community could have simply asked our cooperation as we had no idea you were attempting a Starburst. I was rebuilding my area when all this happened, I looked the actions in my scanner and thought the plan was something else and I acted upon.
I am being called toxic and all other things, how much negativity does that bring to the game? Have you even attempted to be nice with me over the years?
The Enl montreal are right and all thé orther tries to convice them of the opposite.
they brought better arguments and solution.
The negative of this discussion should not be aimed to player. The onely responsable is Niantic béa cause this probleme exist since many years and has not yet act.
To avoid this confusion it is up to Niantic to clarifie these game rules so that thé are clear and of that onely one interpretation possible. Niantic should add a lis of what is considerate accepting or not.
It’s also the role of the moderator to open your horozon to see the reel probleme and not give bugos answers which aggravate the problematic.
I remind you, the reel problematic is the rule are vague and can be interpreted in many ways. Niantic’s slowless in responding to question from player and incomplète explanation.
I hope that Niantic and these moderate will learn of the situation and Help the tow clan to reconsiliate. It’s your responsabilty because you have worse the situation.
That would be a known quantity within days. If someone is a worker in the cemetery, that would be "public" knowledge inside of a month.
If it's a spoofer or known problem player the community probably suspects, but really needs Niantic to do their job, to confirm if someone thinks an egregious TOS violation has occurred, that would be the equivalent of good inventory control with firm cutoffs, and accurate counts.
That might be "known quantity" by the local players if that person has continued access, but what about the once-off events? And even if "known", how do you expect Niantic to verify and enforce this? On a global scale?
This conversation is going off rail. Please avoid personals debates about who's right and who's wrong nothing good will come out of it.
There is a rule in this game which is "No trespassing", which does not seem to be enforced. As a community we brought enough proof that this private property was closed at the time of the capture. We are not asking that Niantic integrate some sort of system that auto detect it, we are asking that Agents who does not respect that rule, if enough evidence is brought to Niantic, that consequences follow.
If they don't plan to enforce that rule, then they should change their ToS to reflect that.
i agree with you. But that is unless the player had a legitimate access to the portal that trespassing should be punished.
Public access 24/7 to the portal isn’t a requirement to start with so again if he had a way to gain access to the portal legally : it is not considered trespassing even if the zone is closed to public.
@K4l3v in 2018 a class law suit was won against Niantic for Pokemon for private residence including commercial property which now stipulate that Niantic has to publish access hours of those sites on their web site - if that can apply to Pokemon this should also to Ingress.
Exceptional access to portal outside opening hours of private zones should still be considered as trespassing as they can hardly be proven - if to happen it would be the responsibility of that player to demonstrate he gained legitimate access when denounced by other players.
So your saying legitimate access of a portal should still result in a ban if people complain loudly enough because the legitimacy can't be proven? That's basically guilty because I say your guilty, evidence be damned

Good plan? You mean a restricted area anchor lmao.
How is this reply helpful? Have a look at our BAF setup. Are you even from Montreal area to judge?

And it was spoofed 3 times, just saying .. And I didnt cry on social media all 3 times it happend, I just fixed it and kept on going
Right. So here's the real problem. Not trespassing, just plain old "I'm losing and its not fair".
Far from it for me. Using your "connections" to access a closed area knowing full well the state of the area is just crass.
Again how are your comments being constructive in order to resolve this conflict?
We let opposition do field art if they ask first, and usualy vice versa.

I disagree. If i have legitimate access to a portal I have no obligation to tell anyone how I got access. It's my business.
Sometimes i take a photo of myself at a portal to prove to others I was there, if I feel like it.
I might tell trusted team members the way so they can also get access.
Same as if I can capture a low signal portal. I am under no obligation to tell others where signal is available, what antenna was used etc etc.
You should try actually capturing a portal, it's fun. Welcome to the team.
The number of fake accounts posting in this thread is just embarrassing 😂
Someone needs to just close this thread
Welp, so, given all the comments, looks like the answer to OP's question is #NotInTheRules
I guess that a straight call to the cops should be thrown next time?
Kind of odd : I never saw you on the playing field and never interacted with Patante007 before this reply on forum.
