dead ? what are u talking about the OP highlighted many problems that we have for a long time now, would be nice get some answers from someone at niantic in charge.
PoGo had a specific complaint: 40m vs. 80m interaction distance. It's a disagreement over the nature of the game, and as such, something people can have a real conversation and debate over.
Skimming over the original letter in this thread, a lot of the points are just about bugs. Fix COMM. Fix C.O.R.E. Fix logins. Empower the support staff. Etc. There's no meaningful conversation or debate to be had. Niantic just needs to do things. And they have been, if a bit slowly.
That being said PoGo went through a change.org campain and multiple calls to boycott. But I agree with last comment, they had a very specific complaint while Ingress basically just want Niantic improve their communication.

This isn't dead, it is ignored by Niantic. If being ignored by Niantic means the topic is dead, that is another problem.
@NianticThia poke
(yummy disagrees coming in)
PoGo just got a response to their open letter on Niantic blog.
And what do we have here from the Ingress team? Nothing?
