Dnipro players banned without explaining the reasons and strikes
Players from the Dnipro community were banned without explanation. Niantic announces that we are cheaters and is not subject to further discussion. But no violations were made on our part. We also did not receive letters by e-mail about violations. Just a wave of bans on incomprehensible criteria. What does it mean? My Pazitif account is over seven years old and I haven't received a single strike. Trivalet and vetaleto are also banned for no reason. I regard Niantic's actions as inadequate. This topic requires publicity and additional investigations. I also look forward to comments from Niantic. @NianticBrian @NianticCasey

Certain violations are an immediate ban, without any previous strikes.
Okay. But no violations were made on our part. Just a wave of bans on incomprehensible criteria.
Hello. My account was banned yesterday (nickname — dobrAl). I never received three strikes or an email from Niantic. I just got banned. There is no reason for it. I only started playing and enjoying the game. I played fairly, I never cheated or used 3rd party software or violated any rules. Could you please investigate this issue?
@NianticBrian @NianticCasey
If your account IGN was dobrAl, what account are you logging into the forum with ?
Banned accounts are not allowed on the forum. I had to create a new one.
So you are @aIexela as well?
Hello, Niantic!
I'm an active player from Dnipro, Ukraine. I'm also an event coordinator in this region (Mission Day, First Saturdays, Field art events, etc.). I hope you'll hear me out.
We all appreciate everything you do for agents. However, we are facing situations when agents get terminated for no reason more often. Such issues affect the motivation of the local community and their interest in the game.
Could you please investigate the issues with account termination of the following agents: Pazitif, Trivalet, dobrAl, vetaleto.
Thanks.

be aware bans can trigger something that happend a long time ago, like a year or maybe longer, doesnt mean it was this week even something.. if false ban u need appeal it.
I'm dobrAl. I couldn't log in with my banned account. I had to create a new one to communicate the issue to Niantic
If you received a ban you believe to be unjust, you will need to file an appeal on the support site. Each agent must file their own appeal, as appeals from others will not be considered.
Posting on the forum is not going to help.
Appeal form dont working
I already did that. I received the standard message
"Agent,
After a thorough review, we have concluded that your account has violated the Ingress Terms of Service...."
But I never used any 3rd party software. Never did I violate any other rules of ToS. I'm sure there was a mistake.
I remember the case when Pokemon Go players were banned just because they were using Xiaomi 6 smartphone. So I think there must have been a mistake again. Me and other players mentioned in this thread want further investigation.
Don't work as in you can't submit an appeal? Or don't work because the result is not what you expected?
Doesn't work because I can't appeal. When creating, an error "try to update and retry" appears. The form was simply turned off.
You either do not bother or call the responsible person.
I also tried appealing via the form.
I can't post the print screen of the form as I "have to be around for a little while longer" before I can post links.
Here is what the form has been saying since yesterday — "Something went wrong! Please reload and try again. We're sorry for the inconvenience".
I had to appeal via chat on ingress.com/support. Only there I got the answer I described in my message above
You also forgot to mention that all 4 players were Res. A "ban wave" based on phone models or OS doesn't have a favourite faction. So for 4 accounts of the same faction that's either a concidence of just 12% or... there's something else involved.
I heard people got banned for taking stuff, that was, unknowingly to them, bought on eBay, which would explain the same faction bans. Do you recall taking stuff from some specific players lately?
I'm not even from Dnipro. I have never met the guys mentioned in the post. I'm a solo player from another city. I just got the same issue and shared my story hoping that Niantic reacts somehow.
Are you implying that Enl agents never got a ban?
And no, never have I bought any stuff. Why buy stuff if I can farm portals?
I don't say you bought stuff. I say someome else could buy it and then offer it to you, and then you could be banned for taking it. Basically:
1. Agent A buys Aegis on eBay.
2. Agent A says to Agent B "hey I got some spare Aegis, want some?"
3. Agent B takes the Aegis from Agent A. Agent B doesn't know that Agent A didn't hack those but bought them.
4. Agent B is banned.
I heard of one ban exactly for this reason.
Didn't hear of any recent Enl bans in Dnipro as of yet. That's exactly why I tried searching for explanation of same faction bans.
As I've already told you, I'm a solo player and farmed my stuff myself.
Perhaps the hypothesis you've described is just rumours. Enl agents have also been subjected to terminations. A ban doesn't have a favorite fraction.
In my comment I asked Niantic to provide further investigation and explanation to the issue in question. If the agents know the reasons, other players will know for sure that terminations weren't granted randomly or by a mistake.
It will also help persuade any cheaters to think twice before cheating againg.
Have you guys done a check of your Google accounts to see if there is any apps authorized on there?
There's also the chance a some IITC plugin has run you afoul of the ToS by making too many calls, or improper requests.
Смурфы привет Механикусу!)))
could be comm behaviour that trigged the bans too...
In the meantime, another Res player turns out to be banned.
This brings total score to 5 Res bans vs 0 Enl bans at the moment.
I asked around and found out that one person played on an Android 10, and the other played on an iPhone (iOS 14), which suggests that this probably isn't a ban wave targeting specific phone models/OS. 🤔 That's without considering the fact that if it was a "ban wave", it would be somewhat more global.
