Hearing strange sounds when a high level resistance portal selected.

If you select a high-level resistance portal, the ambient sounds it creates after a bit sound a bit like voices distorted with some audio effects (idk which ones, I’m not good with that kind of thing). These don’t occur when an enlightened portal is selected (or maybe they do, but with different, harder-to-detect effects). Does anyone know what they say, if anything?

Try a P8, it's clearest then. And it is on both ENL and RES portals
It's a known phenomenon since Prime was released. I've only ever heard Roland Jarvis's voice, but there could be others.
Thanks for the link! This was exactly what I needed!
The voices in the portals was an added effect to prime that wasn't in Classic.
The effort to do this meant that Prime has a way of expanding story into the actual game instead of a separate YouTube series.
3 years later, it still hasn't been fully utilized to bring story through audio clips in the game.
I personally think this is a really cool concept and want it to become more fleshed out as a feature
