In Android 12 beta, there is an issue where characters in some languages are not displayed correctly.

For example, this seems to be happening with Japanese.

This is happening on Pixel4a.

    Yes. I'm pretty sure it's only happening with the Ingress app.

    This has not happened with web browser apps or general utility apps. Therefore, it appears to be a problem that is only occurring in Ingress.

    As per the support page, OS betas aren't officially supported by Niantic.

    There have been numerous issues in the past with this so if you decide to run a beta OS then it is at your own risk
