weird that "****" was not censored but "to ****" was.
It's hard for me to **** why this would be.
This forum has by far the strangest censored choices I've ever seen, and this isn't the first time it's been pointed out. There are a lot of words on the censor list that make zero sense and are just normal words and phrases, some of which are very common to use when talking about Ingress.
There's a lot of weirdly broken and clearly unfinished work for functions on this forum.
The combination of 'make' and 'out' in anglicized western culture is the equivalent of 'first base' aka kissing.
Though it would be really good to do a review of the censor list.
A euphemism for kissing isn't any more offensive than discussing kissing directly.
Makes me wonder of tonsil hockey is censored...
Even **** (L.C.D.) indicating for example the TFT screen would be censored
Lowest Common Denominator? srsly, i even looked on Urban Dictionary, there was no term **** that i recognized as being in common usage. making out i get (sort of, but don't find offensive), but ****? srsly?
It's arguable a LESS explicit way to describe it as well. It's certainly not considered offensive.
I'm surprised you're even allowed to say 'idiom".
Idiom?!? I hardley know 'im!
