Feature Request: Intel Map - Currently owned portals layer or list
Could we have a layer or list of portals owned which allows us to see which ones we've owned the longest?
For the life of me, I don't know where my longest held portal is, nor am I recharging it. However, it's approaching 400 days held and would be fun to know where it is. Maybe paywall this behind CORE like the inventory list is?

You can check your Google maps history and get an idea of where it can be.
Unless you routinely remove your history @Hydracyan
Afraid of something?
Not at all. Just work in IT. Believe in reducing potential attack surfaces.
Boy, you got the wrong game then :D
Nerd-off aside, having information like age of portals, age of fields, age of links, even MU of a given field are all things that we know Niantic has, or once did, because the original Intel used to give us all that information.
It was previously removed, mostly for data bloat reasons, since GetEntities used to contain all the GetPortalDetails data for every portal on screen, but also removed from GetPortalDetails when a Niantic employee's Guardian was killed.
At a minimum, returning capture date for portals as a simple value would be a big improvement, but I'd really love to see the MU of fields at least in the API, so that we can do things like strategic planning of future fields.
I don't know how much work on the Intel map for new features @ofer2 and the other server engineers are doing, but even data that the Stock Map can't use will be used by players. I'm still waiting for the long promised "Public Intel API" that Brandon Badger mentioned back in 2013.

This will never happen. Don't hold your breath.
We haven't gotten it. I'm not holding my breath waiting, but I'm also not going to stop asking for it.
I wouldn't mind an API call to look up a portal's faction owner. Would be fun to program home automation lighting based on a API
These things have been done before, like C-Base in Germany, and I still have a Tecthulu Mk 2 sitting on my shelf right now. However, they were done in what the Devs at Navarro described as an "extremely invasive way", so having a real API that could control access and limit rates etc, would be better.

What about a physical ornament you could attach to a portal (with the property owner's permission, natch) that would light up with the faction color? Or a downtown holiday light display where all the lights near a portal glowed with the faction color? Would make real-time portal combat really pretty 😁
