Increased Intel Latency
Hi everyone, as of 12:30 AM PDT 4/4/2021 we are aware that there are increased latencies for some of the data for Intel Map (i.e. portals/links/fields will sometimes take longer to load). We've tried a few things to fix it, and have improved the latencies a bit, but we dont want to try too much while people arent in the office. We apologize for the additional slowness and hopefully should have it fixed soon.

It was completely gone for at least 30 minutes yesterday, but nothing was said. Glad you're telling us today.
Would this be related to the intermittent issues starting the client today too? Seeing it either go to a black screen or take a long time to get to the globe and load in. But not for everyone at the same time, and goes away after a few restarts.
We've seen hiccups for the client on the order of 3 minutes where ~5% of requests will take 23 seconds as opposed to the normal ~700ms worst case, but AFAICT, this isnt related. Will investigate and try and triage more tomorrow.

Update: we have resolved the issues for the Intel Map and game server should be updated shortly thereafter. Please let us know if you see any further issues on the Intel Map as of now, or with the game server tomorrow. Thanks!

Yup, intermittent outage today as well, noticed two moments I couldn't get into the game.
I've experienced the same, but as you said, intermittently. Some hours I can get on and drone hack, others the black screen of the abyss.
It’s not a big deal for me, but imagine having an op with 30 agents in the field and this is going on (for days). Ugh.
I can't get logged in when I have free time to play, but when I working, the scanner loads up nice and fast. pbbbbt.
For reference, the Intel Latency that this post refers to has largely been resolved.

The Intel map still doesn’t load for me on my computer, it’s been like this for days. It’s fine on my phone, but I’m wondering what’s wrong
try logout from your google acc on your pc, it dont helps ?
Clear all your cookies/cache etc?
The logs show successful logins on the account, so I'm not sure whats going on. Can you try clearing the cookies and trying again? Or try https://intel.ingress.com/logout and then logging back in?
