[2.67.1] COMM doesn't fill screen

Above is a screenshot of COMM on my Oneplus 8 Pro. After discussing with others, we noticed that this view seems to be bugged, or at the very least, not laid out correctly. Note the map peeking through on the sites as well as the news posts not rendering completely (regarding news, see also https://community.ingress.com/en/discussion/13775/2-66-1-articles-in-news-tab-missing-title-and-having-text-cut-off).

I do not see this on my OnePlus 7 Pro with 2.67 or 2.68. I have my status bar disabled and do not have a visible nav bar, so this might have something to do with it.

I thought that was intentional? It's been like that for as long as I can recall on my Pixel 4.
As @SmurfHunter says, it has something to do with screen size. Enabling gesture navigation (nab bar is removed), the blank space disappears.

Huh, true. If I change the navigation bar to Gesture instead of Buttons, everything is shown correctly.
Who even uses Gesture navigation?
1+Nord. Nice big gap on the top. Everything up to date.
I have the same issue with COMM.

It is even worse when I use Ingress on a split screen.
