[Intel] "Invert" option flags every linked portal as unvisited after zooming out to Link level

in Report a Bug
Browse to an area with linked portals you already visited, zoom in to Portal level, enable Visited layer and check "Invert".
Zoom out to All Links level.
They are now flagged as Univisted, Captured layer shows the same behaviour as well.
I tested it on Chrome 88 + Windows 10

This invert button seems... buggy. Another way to make it go wrong is simply to click on the layers menu while the invert button is selected (doesn't then matter if you select the same or a different one). Then 'invert' will become disabled so all captured/visited portals have rings on them, but the box is still ticked. Need to click on the checkbox twice to fix this.
When selecting a layer, the invert checkbox is ignored and assumed unchecked.

It was not...
The bug here is about data history data being absent from entities unless at zoom >=15, it's not a bug about the invert checkbox behaving badly...
Please, separate to two issue
When the data is absent from entities at zoom < 15 (which it will always be), the invert checkbox sees those entities as not having been captured and therefore marks them.
The correct response for the Intel map is to not have the layers display at all, at wider zoom.
Since 'real portals' don't exist at the link-only levels, their data is never going to contain the history, just like it's not going to contain the names.
