Side note: Where do you get dark mode from?
I am actually having a few issues that cause this, that I can't obviously post and show. I tried saying simply "thank you" and it did this to me.
Browser plug-in probably. Super common for desktop browsers like Chrome and Firefox. There may be some color settings available in a mobile device’s browser. Depends on model.

Pity. I was hoping there was a trick to enable other themes. It really seems like the Ingress website should be a dark one, like OPR was.

I am not sure, if this is intended and I triggered language filter by something, maybe popup appearing to users should be more descriptive what is issue with text given.

i run into similar issue, but with different word, please check if its reasonable to merge it to this bug report, or it should stay in separate report
I had this trigger with "had" too.
