Not a ton. I'd prefer a set of media lockers or a media knockout system where media is non-transferrable and doesn't take inventory. I'd legit pay $30-50 for either of these options.
I always thought the Key lockers were a missed opportunity. They should have given everyone a free one, like PoGo’s one permanent Incubator, and then if you wanted more, you could get temporary ones - expiring key lockers that you paid to maintain. (Again similar to PoGo - you can buy more incubators, but they aren’t permanent)
in this scenario, the key lockers wouldn’t disappear, you just would only be able to take keys out after they “expired”. Once they were empty, they would disappear from your inventory.
This is all academic at this point, they didn’t implement it this way, but it could have been a way to get regular income from players. I’m not sure enough money would have been generated to make it worthwhile though.
To the original point, I think everyone should have the ability to have 6 key lockers. It’s unfair to new players that older players can have 600 keys not counted against inventory vs. 500 for new players.
If you sold the sixth one, players who got the sixth one as a gift should be able to buy a seventh. The whole point of the gift was to reward loyal players.
In addition to what @grendelwulf said, it's also in the essence of the word 'gift', 'bonus', or 'extra'. It was a free extra offered to those that purchased the 5-locker set at the time of the giveaway. Just because I joined the game after the deal doesn't mean I should be able to purchase the extra now, after the fact. Same thing goes for if you passed up on the chance to purchase the set at the time of the giveaway. It was a limited-time item, only for those that fulfilled the requirement (in this case purchasing the locker set) during the set timeframe. If a new locker is offered for purchase, it should be available to purchase for all Agents.

The part about being able to buy the 5 from store is really ambiguous. Now that we now the outcome is easy to understand the real meaning, but before I bet that lot of players understood that you could still purchase the other 5 in any order.
If there was a note on the news, or someone warned me, I would've bought the others that was lefting to reach 5 before redeeming this one.
Days after it ended, people started complaining, and were informed that it was an exclusive gift for people who were active during that period. Presumably because a bunch of people made new backpacks and wanted extra lockers on it.
Well, I was active during that period. Why am I denied to buy 5? It was said that it was a special keylocker that would not count towards the limit, so my understanding at the moment was 1 special plus 5 from the store.
But what's the point of having it if you can't use to look the portal? I'm using one keylocker as a souvenir capsule, but I like to take some key out, look the portal and it's surrounds, who captured it, etc.
I think it's a great feature, but not as a capsule, it will need a entire new UI to full use of that.
I'd pay $5-10 USD worth of CMU for another key locker to use. So many opportunities to be able to bank time/save time by saving keys for microfielding, etc.
I am fortunate enough to have it, but know many players that don't. I would not have a problem if the 6th one became purchasable to even things out. The benefit for the older players would be that you got it for free during an event while others had to buy it in the store for some amount of CMU.

Depending on market ( how quickly you turn over keys) 15-50k cmu. In high action boxes it's worth more than others.
Raise the cap to 10.
People with 6 can buy 4 more. People with 5 can buy 5 more.

Lol dude you are so entitled, you played the game a year earlier than me and have a permanent 100 inventory advantage over me and newer players.
The older players are mostly the ones moaning against every new feature that comes out while sitting there retired doing nothing at all for the game.

I think those with 5, should be able to purchase a 6th to level the field.

Enable all players to reach same level of X total caps through purchase. (IE everyone could have 10).
I still want to know why we can't pay for store only souvenir caps for keys. (Can put in, but never take out).

I'm still advocating for a Souvenir Key Case.
$1.99 for 100 spaces, with each tier thereafter costing $1 for 100 more spaces. Keys and media can be put in and deleted, but cannot be removed.
I can guarantee I'd drop $10 on that right off the bat, plus more for all the keys I wanted as souvenirs but didn't have room for.

why would they sell 5 more capsules for 15000mcu, when they can get 7000mcu vaue in money every month for renting little better space ?
