Yes, via glyphing. When glyphing, you don't always get a whole number, but something like 300.4 AP (due to the time bonus), which is rounded down to 300. If you apply x2 AP however, you'll get 600.8, or 601 AP rounded up.
Have you confirmed that this is possible during this double AP event? I know that has been true during previous double AP events, but based on a sample size of dozens of glyph hacks between myself and a friend who had been trying to return to an even number, we've been unable to trigger an odd AP this time around. I think something may have changed in how they are performing the calculation (rounding before the doubling, rather than after).
It's different. x2 'glyph AP' works as above, however 'x2AP all' works after it's rounded up. Sadly, there is no way to get a odd number while x2 AP is present.
Well this explains why I couldn't get glyph hacking to even out from a last digit of five a few day ago. After about an hour of glyphing various low level portals I gave up and recursed again. Such is this heavy burden.

I don't think it is possible. I made sure to have an even number before the event, to reach 44444444 AP and 88888888 lifetime AP during the event.

Hm, I could only glyph a few times too, but I also observed only even numbers. Lemme ask around.
Edit: According to others that glyphed a hella lot, they also only got even numbers. Looks like Niantic did change stuff.
I have been glyphing like mad too. No dice! Thank you.
Super cool!!!

Too bad Zinky..... just wait til its end and you can get the results you want. Right, right? Hehe.
