Separate vibration toggle

Unrelated to prime, some devices exhibit an unusual behavior in some applications that vibrate extensively, among them is Ingress Prime. During a long period of vibration, an application may lock up, causing it to be temporarily unusable. This has extended to a few devices that I have owned and other players have owned, and is rather irritating, since many of us rely on vibrations for glyph hacking. If there were a way to toggle glyph hacking vibrations and attack/XM drain vibrations seprately, that would help immensely!

I don't have that bug but would still welcome the ability to turn off the vibration for the notification without affecting the in-game vibration.

  • Starwort, do you have Android? If so, notification control can allow you to mute vibration on the app. My main issue is attacks in game vibrating my device, as it can cause ingress to lock up for a feature I don't otherwise enjoy.

I have Android 6, and it does not have any such control.
