Hello, here enl agent level 13. I have made 10 portal scans and i just want to make a little question. How can i see the ar models created by those scans??
You cannot see them. It is unknown if we will ever see them in ingress. For now it's just 'free labor' we are doing in order for Niantic to create a map / new game and we are rewarded with a cool looking badge.
You know you can submit the minimum 5 seconds of video to get a portal scan "point" it doesn't even need to be of the actual portal. I say this because of the fact you can't have portals removed from the system. Well you can try but the pogo players don't like it. So I was scanning the location where the portal would have been if it hadn't been removed or in some cases never existed in the first place. Still it does chew up 18-25Mb of data per scan. So to get the top tier Scout Controller badge would be :-
15000 x 20Mb = 300 Gb
15000 x 5 seconds = 20 Hours, 50 Minutes
I'm assuming you don't have to scan a portal more than once (you may have to beat the current portal controller) and my calculations are dookie :-)
Yeah, if I'm getting 15,000 scout controllers, I can't really afford to skip over a portal that's been torn down. I'll just scan the new building built in it's spot.
You keep using words like might and think. Please provide a link that provides some clarification. I’m in the boat of, if Niantic wants me to do work for them and NOT provide strict guidelines, then I’m definitely going to scan it, even if it’s missing. Now, if it’s inside of a building I can’t access, I’ll skip it obviously.

It's for Portal Scanning. See thread below
https://community.ingress.com/en/discussion/9558/portal-scanning#latest
That thread says it's only for level 16 and recursed agents, but I think it's now something like level 12 or 13 and up?
Be lv 12, have a good smartphone with ar+ and the Scanning option will show bellow location edit. Do 50 scans and you will get the first medal.

You mobile needs to have ARCore support. Here's the official list of supported devices.
Google is constantly adding more device that can handle ARCore. So in case your device is not listed, it might get listed in the future.
If your device is on the list, just go download "Google Play Services ARCore".
Sorry problem solved

If It does not exist you should report it.
Please do not scan portals that don't exist. In the worst case, it might make Niantic think that it exists and refuses to remove it.
It “might” make them think it exists, but it might also verify that it doesn’t exist....
Regardless of if it does anything, I think the current recommendation from Niantic is to not scan non-existent portals.

You think or you have a quote or link of they saying that, please?
As far as I understand the scanning results are the best way to prove that a portal exists (or not) at correct location.
