Ingress Prime crashes on Start-Up on iPhone 7

Whenever I try starting Ingress Prime on my iPhone 7 using iOS 11, it crashes almost instantly.


I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I have tried restarting my phone. I have tried clearing my phone's cache. Nothing so far has worked.


I have submitted a ticket to the Ingress Support website about the issues, however I was told they would not get back to me about it since it is a bug report.


Has anyone else experienced this and found a way to get the game to start?

  • Hello, using an iphone 6 i was having the same problem. issue for me was to update the iOS to 12.4.5... but needed 5 gb to do that on a phone with maximum 16gb (so not enough space and i had to delete apps until enough space).

    when installing it does ask if it can uninstall apps to reinstall later to enable the installation but that function does not seem to work properly for me.
