Every time i try to do something online with the png image my mobile restarts... Can I convert the png image to jpg or would i lose the passcode? Thanks
stage 3: I have all the elements and I organize them for characteristics, alchemist order, everything and I can't know or do ... a background image helped me organize the elements, but still I have no idea what to do.
Agreed. This requires such a brainleap that it wouldn't come to you. It's also a radical departure of the previous steps. What's more annoying, I have the method figured out, and the Tiny url doesn't work.
Stuck trying to decode the last image as well. On my phone and have not been able to find a website that does what I need it to. The ugly robots hint doesn’t ring any bells for me in my google searches. I had an easier time getting the sound files handled online for the past challenge than this.
For step 4, the underlying method is really cool and I am glad I now know about it, but it is not really appropriate for this kind of challenge, in my opinion - especially at step 4 of a four step process, at least without some kind of direct hint.
As was said earlier, the best approach would be to realize there’s a code buried deep in that image and the designer probably needed online help to put it there. Try to think like the designer ... and keep an eye out for an ugly robot.
So I have been on step 4 for quite a few hours now and I don't know what 2 steps everyone is mentioning I am using **** so I should have the tools to see it right?
once you have your mapping and your display system in place, fill it in a letter at a time. You’ll have your breaks when you can read why your filling in. There’s no set break, the output will just make sense at the right places
Finally got it wow this weeks was pretty difficult I liked the last 2 puzzles much better I think this one was fun once everything made sense but it took a while to get there good luck everyone!
Hi guys, i'm new at the decode challenge, as far as i can see i'm stuck on step 2, i know what the symbols are but i don't know how to continue, every symbols repeats on the sequence, is it relevant? i just need a little hint please.
I had "see parts of the passcode" problem on some website, in fact, it truncated part of the image. Used "Ctrl -" in the browser to make image smaller and fully visible.
It is definitely one of those ARG Things that you will get exposed to sooner or later if you do these. It is not obscure within its sphere (it's the simplest of its type) but if you have never thought of the idea of doing it, this would be intense!
I must agree with others...this was a challenging solve but the comments, as always, make a lot more sense in hindsight! Thanks for those who helped nudged us along. As usual, in Step 3 I was trying to make things more difficult towards the end.

i have to disagree. Google what you found

Well, that was embarrassing. Face palm Thanks @Anlashok
Converting to jpg would be a disaster.
Can the "intended way" be achieved without Photoshop (or online tools)?
(I only have access to MS paint and half the internet).
Then I have finished here... Thanks niantic...

These challenges aren't written by niantic, but other agents like you and me.
There are websites specifically meant for decoding this kind of images. I am sure they will also work on your phone.
The third step tiny URL works, but mind your o’s and i’s

Looking for a hint on step 2...

Sorry, looks like we posted at the same time. Honestly, you’re better off skipping an image editor. Hit me up on telegram if you want help
Got it finally. Found the robot eventually. Thanks!

Thank you!!!
So I've found the robot - do I have to use what the robot is associated with or are there other ways to do it?
I can see parts of the passcode using another website but not all :( so I am stumped for the time being.
Sometimes when something repeats, you want to take a step forward.
For step 2, the comment by TommyGun96 on the bottom of page 7 helped me solve it,
I got help on step 3, convert to 53 letters and then read the examples on the tool for the segments.
Let me tell you: if I'd done everything but the last step by hand I would have had it hours ago.
Thank you guys!!!

I guess once one is at this point there is no value in being coy
Solved it thanks to the mentioning of displays.
The last step is quite obscure if you don't know who to ask. I used a common software tool for dealing with such things though.
